IMS

All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.

To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,

- Go to Settings > XperiaParts
- Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier
- A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.

NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.

Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.

What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.

How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.

What to do then ?
You can do 2 things:

- Switch to 3G and wait if it works
OR
- Go to Settings > XperiaParts
- Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.

I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.

I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.

- Switch to 3G and wait.
If it doesn't work then:
- Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status
- If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me
- Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.

Installed non-GAPPS version using russel5's twrp from 4pda but following instructions in OP. Ran through set up then factory reset after first boot. Booted to twrp and flashed pico gapps 11.

So far, ROM is running flawlessly. No issues with SD card or anything else yet. However, I haven't yet put a sim in since it's my tester xz1c. I'll do so over the next few days and report back.

Excellent work as always Ansh, thank you much (y)

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5
Tried dirty flash but ended with boot stuck (after 15min I quit) and done the Clean flash - so far so good.
Carier network detected from first start (usual reboot required), Google pay works, everything else looks good.

Thank you @Rooted_Ansh for this great rom!

    Got small issue:
Flashing completed, OS is loading, phone is asking for a SIM PIN and then "Factory data resetting / restarting" window pops up, and phone get's into loop at this point (Asking for PIN + "Factory data resetting / restarting").
    Any ideas?

    EDIT:
I wiped "Internal Storage" as well and now it launched properly;)
What camera do you recommend (there is none in the ROM)?
    I've tried "xperiance/camera' but it's crashing constantly.
Yes, no natively installed camera app. I use Open Camera which was recommended to me on Telegram. Work perfectly. There is just a bug on the rom concerning the playback of HD videos (in 60fps if I say no nonsense)
    2
Now when trying to record video app crashes but taking pictures or switching to front camera works fine. When i was using Lineage 19.1 camera xperiance was working without any issues.
    2
Another option is you might want to wait for the vanilla version of HavocOS to be released if you would rather not have Google.

Anyone know if a Google-free version of 5.x is on the horizon? It's been a while, but still hasn't dropped.
    1
Flashed 5.7 and it is working very good but is there a way to remove bottom google search bar? I was looking for a way to get battery percentage next to the icon but couldn't find it.
Another option is you might want to wait for the vanilla version of HavocOS to be released if you would rather not have Google.
    1
So who is actually updating this ROM and are they actually looking in at bugs, or do they just regularly rebuild with the latest Android (security) fixes? I ask because it seems the topic starter has last posted something just under a year ago and the changelog hasn't been updated since version 4.8.

And to be clear: It's pretty awesome that people invest time into these custom roms and provide them for free to whomever wants to use them. So I ask this because I'd like to know, not because I think I'm entitled to any form of support (I'm well aware I have no _right_ to support).
