Dock icons are now shifted a bit up after today's update:
Screenshot_20210814-120045_Shady_Launcher.png
That's how it was before:
Screenshot_20210703-110230_Shady_Launcher.png

And GBoard also got this large empty space at the bottom:

Any ideas what can cause this?

Could you please tell which solution you used to modify dock padding (keyboard was also affected)? I googled the "wm overscan" trick but it was deprecated since Android 11.

That dock issue is not a big deal. The difference is too small, maybe change column count or row count.

That keyboard thing, is not part of OS. It's google app. Google what can be done to remove it.

Changing row/column numbers doesn't affect the dock at all, only widgets and app drawer.
You didn't answer my question. Which modifications you've made and how can it be reversed? Because it affects that bottom gap on keyboard too (I don't have a screenshot but the keyboard was also shifted up at the same value as dock).

It can't be reversed.

And secondly, dock height and keyboard bar ARE NOT RELATED / DEPENDENT.

There's a solution for hiding navigation bar on android 11 but it didn't work for me, maybe someone else will have luck with it — you have to add 'qemu.hw.mainkeys=1' to /system/build.prop file.
Code:
adb root
adb shell mount -o rw,remount /
adb pull /system/build.prop .
echo "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" >> build.prop
adb push build.prop /system/
adb shell
chmod 644 /system/build.prop
exit
adb reboot

You think that's the reason to make the product uglier? I didn't ask for fix, I just asked to point me what exactly was modified so that I can (or cannot) change it myself.
A little padding from bottom to uniform it proportionately with respect to dpi for everyone makes your UI uglier ?

You want me to point out where it was changed ?
It was changed in the java code due to addition of option of google search bar which is closed source by the head of this ROM and this doesn't affect keyboard. There you go, do whatever you want to do.

And definitely, just because you can co-relate the padding change in keyboard and dock, doesn't mean they are related.

I am very impressed with the speed and stabability of this ROM.

One question, how do you have the battery percentage show? I can't find it in settings.

OS runs great. No issues so far except for ONE thing: It seems as if there's no Android Auto support. Any ideas?

I plug the phone in, and the phone itself seems to go into driving mode and shows the Android Auto is running notification, but my head unit gives me an error message saying AA couldn't start. I really tried all I could think of.

Anybody can confirm Android Auto is working on 4.6?

(So far 4.4 and 4.5 was broken - need to stay on 4.3 for the moment.)

Tested and 4.6 does not work for me with Android Auto. Phone detects the connection, icon is there for AA but no connection, car says no device detected.
Reverting back to 4.3. Will report 4.7 again :)
    4.8 not working either.

    IMS

All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.

To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,

    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier
    - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.

NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.

Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.

    What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.

How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.

    What to do then ?
    You can do 2 things:

    - Switch to 3G and wait if it works
    OR
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.

I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.

I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.

    - Switch to 3G and wait.
    If it doesn't work then:
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status
    - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me
    - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.
