Question for @Rooted_Ansh and the other maintainers of this ROM. Is this forum+telegram the only place to report for bugs or strange things seen? Being the project on GitHub, I expected to see a "Issues" page where everyone can keep track of bugs in a more convenient way.

Hello, thank you for this amazing ROM.

But I think I found issue with sd-card and photos.
When i take some photos using the default camera installed (storage se to sd-card) it is saved, but it looks like it isn't discovered.
- OneDrive (that i have set to auto backup camera photos) is not seeing this photo.
- Some galleries are not seeing this photo.
- When i close the camera and reopen it again, the last taken photo preview is showing the photo before this (or nothing, when it was the first photo taken.)

All this is fixed with taking the sd card out and putting it in the phone again.
I have even tried the AZ MediaScanner, but it doesn't help.

The only workaround i have found (except reinserting sd-card) is set the camera storage to phone.

Is anyone here facing the same issue?

EDIT: Ok, found this app: Refresh MediaStore, and it is fixing the issue.
So maybe the camera isn't reporting the new photo to MediaStore correctly when its placed on sd-card?

Two questions:
- You said that you used the default camera app. But, as far as I know, with Android 11 this is not possible and third-party apps (like OpenCamera) should be used. Can you clarify?
- Does reinserting the SD card fix the issue forever? Or you need to do that every time you take a new photo?

- By default camera app i mean the one, that came with this ROM (package name is eng.shank.20210805.220714-00)
- reinserting SD card does not fix it forever, you need to do it every time (as it forces the media scan i supose)

Tried OpenCamera now and saving to SD card is working without issue. So it's clearly bug in the camera app, that's coming with this ROM.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm assuming that what you call "default camera" is what the first post calls "stock camera":
  • Stock camera is not working anymore due to incompatibility of stock library (libimageprocessorjni.so) with new libgui
Anyway... if OpenCamera works instead, that's cool!

I believe that the "stock camera" (as written in first post) is meant to be the original official Sony stock camera.
It was always problem get it working on non-stock roms, for example due to TA keys missing (when not backuped before unlocking bootloader), here is stated that it's "due to incompatibility of stock library".

But there's no reason for default ROM camera to not work (and it is working, it only has this one little issue).

Anyway, thankyou for pointing on OpenCamera, I'll give it a try.

any way to use Samsung like gestures nav bar?

the built in gesture nav bar on this ROM is google like (back from the sides), not like Samsung (apps - home - back) which i prefer.

Can it be added somehow? Can i disable the current gesture nav bar via adb and insert another one?

thanks

In settings => configuration center =>buttons and navigation => reverse
Or something like that (I don't have it in English).

Interesting development. In my attempt to get Android Auto to work, I switched to LineageOS 18.1 (Android Auto doesn't work there either, fyi).

Weirdly, I can't now revert back to HavocOS (which I believe is the superior OS). I've deleted data, system, etc repeatedly, and no version of HavocOS I can get my hands on seems to run. Phone won't boot up until I reinstall LineageOS 18.1.

Ideas, anyone?

Im running Havoc's last version

Why cant i run any games? I download several games and all of them crashes before booting. Device is rooted.

Also, i cant seem to make Immersive Gestures Q-S magisk module work. All other modules works.. But i cant get this one to work (navigation bar won't hide). Even adb commands cant make it go away. Some issue with the ROM that doesn't allow to remove tha navbar?

I can play games (I play rythm game) latest version with Magisk v23 installed so maybe your game not compatible with Android 11 or detects root (try use Magisk Hide).

You can hide it with Havoc Configulation Center. (See atatched picture)
Settings→Configulation Center→Gestures→System Navigations→Gesture Navigation Settings(Gear icon)→Gesture bar length and slide switch to "Hidden."

Google Maps is broken after today's update.
upd: reinstallation helped, it was a blank dark canvas instead of maps itself

Anyone can use 4G network on this ROM?
I'm using the latest version (4.11) with docomo (Japanese carrer), but I can't use 4G, of cause VoLTE too.

Edit: 4G finally enabled, but VoLTE still not working...
My SIM compatible with VoLTE, so how can I enable it?

I've had a similar problem some versions before. I could solve it by installing the specific modem for my carrier:

Options -> Xperia Parts -> Modem Switcher Activity -> Switch Modem

There you have to select the modem for your provider and reboot.

Hope it works for you too :)

    Hello there guys,

I won't be able to release this month's build due to ongoing exams.

Extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused :(
    8
    IMS

All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.

To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,

    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier
    - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.

NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.

Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.

    What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.

How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.

    What to do then ?
    You can do 2 things:

    - Switch to 3G and wait if it works
    OR
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.

I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.

I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.

    - Switch to 3G and wait.
    If it doesn't work then:
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status
    - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me
    - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.
