Is there a way to install GCam and use on Havoc? I've tried almost all versions but only Gcam-8.1.101.build-V6.1.211009.2048 by Arnova8G2 starts without problem but there is no picture when taking photo or record videos. I have Camera2API Enabler magisk module.

say thanks for this to Sony engineers, for blocking the receipt of a picture in RAW format.

Are there better camera apps for Havoc ? I'm using Open Camera but want to know if there is any better app. Maybe Magisk module?

I tried running Havoc 4.14 on a SO-02K. There is a problem with power consumption, as I reported above, but maybe there is a fix for that. Worse, though, is that I cannot get it working with T-mobile (actually MVNO Tello) in the US. If I turn on IMS, it cannot read my SIM at all. It acts just like there is no SIM installed. If I turn off IMS, it can read the SIM, but cannot connect to the network. I tried going down to 3G and then back to LTE. As recommended in another forum I tried *#*#4636#*#*, setting my radio band to Automatic (there is no "United States" among the choices -- perhaps this is the problem) and radio power off and rebooting. None of these things made any difference.

I guess it is time to spend some money on an actual G8441.

Try this: https://gitlab.com/xperiance/camera

By the way, does anyone know how to change IMEI on XZ1c, preferably without root?
Working great. Slow motion crashes the app but all other features works. Is there a way to select sd card for storage cause i can only select internal memory?

Bugs after 3 weeks as a daily driver
1. While using double click on Power button for camera on lock screen, UI doesn't work half of the time.
2. Adaptive battery based on battery percentage is faulty. It is stopping the charging at the percentage of resumption.
3. Fingerprint is too sensitive compared to stock increasing the accidental wakes multifold. It makes unlocking snappy at a much larger cost.

Just tried to update to 4.16 through ota. Bricked my phone. Even after wiping art/dalvik cache and regular cache. Factory reset also not working. Anyone else that had this issue on updating? Will have to start from scratch now :(

@Rooted_Ansh There's definitely something wrong with 4.16. did a full format and clean flashed again but still hanging on boot. Can you check it out please?

Clean flashing 4.15 didn't work either so figured the same. Moved to lineage os now as Android 12 was already working there. But I'll definitely keep an eye out for Havoc in the meantime.

Help. I have problem with GPS.
I tested with OsmAnd and GPS test app, it is recognizing (seeing) 7-13 satellites within one minute, however it does not lock on.
I mean there is no coordinates lock, and OSM does not show position.
After about 15 minutes once or twice, it managed to lock on position, although its not consistent.
AGPS data was updated.

Latest Havoc vers,with MicroG.
I found a solution, for me it was a simple hardware thing. Here's my post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gps-problem.3864011/post-86927445

Please help! Camera is not working
--------------SLOVED----------------
Hi, Same issue here, could you please explain your solution.
The only solution I know so far is to wipe and perform a clean reflash of Havoc.
Did you found a simpler Solution to this?

Issue appeared after 3 months usage of Havoc.
My brother had the same issue on his XZ1c after one month of using HavocOS.

Screenshot of the error message is in German language:
In English it seems to be "Can’t connect to the camera"
3680D81E-B75C-4944-952D-E1CB3F1784D9.jpeg

I already tried all troubleshooting steps, except factory reset, listed here without a solution:

Also when trying to use another camera app like OpenCamera, the issue is still there.

I performed a logcat wich shows the following lines with camera related events:

@ru_snake_jp Thank you! but unfortunately this does not fix the issue for me.
I deactivated "Google Photos" and cleared Cache and Memory as well as for the "Camera" App and "Google Services Framework" --> Reboot of the phone --> Still the same error message when opening the "Camera" App

Is there a GCam port for Xperia XZ1?
Don't know about GCam but there's a port of native Xperia cam app (as a Magisk module): https://gitlab.com/xperiance/camera/-/releases

    IMS

All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.

To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,

    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier
    - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.

NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.

Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.

    What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.

How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.

    What to do then ?
    You can do 2 things:

    - Switch to 3G and wait if it works
    OR
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.

I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.

I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.

    - Switch to 3G and wait.
    If it doesn't work then:
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status
    - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me
    - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.
