Hello Rooted_Ansh, hello to you fellow users.

I lost track a bit of updates because my Havoc 4.1 still runs so stable until now!
I just updated the monthly security patches until they stopped with the June version 2022.
Is the old 4.1 discontinued now? Shall I update to version 4.6 or will there be an upgrade to Havoc 5 / Android 12 of the fantastic ROM in the future?

Best regards

How??

My last patch level is Apr. 5th 2022. I always received them via the usual OTA-Update since version 4.x.

I donated Rooted_Ansh a couple of bucks after every update but it got quite silent with that :(. Does anybody know why or is Havoc for Lilac dead?!

@Tim700_0 @hoblerone
Havoc-OS 5 based on Android 12.1 is currently under development and really stable to be used as a daily driver. Features are being added at a good pace. I'm setting the release date for it as 9th July / 10th July. The list of devices that will get Havoc-OS 5 will be revealed by the end of this week.

Thanks for your quick replies!
@hoblerone: You're right with the last security patch I'm on the same version (just installed it in June).

I'm looking forward to the release of Havoc 5, then, thanks for the link 4qx!
I only saw Sony's XZ2 Compact in all the device lists for Android 12 up to now. But I still hope for our great XZ1 :)

Hello,
I do not have TG so asking here:
Is 4.6 the latest version with working Android Auto? Anyone knows if this will work on 5?
I don't know anything about Havoc 5. Havoc 4.6 seems to be the latest build for the lilac, at least. Auto update is still working, even in 4.1 but the patches have been discontinued- due to all efforts being shifted to developing Havoc 5?

I'm not sure where do you see, that 4.6 is the latest build, 4.16 is available to download since April;)
Few post above there is an info about Havoc 5.0 on Android 12 - will be released in two days:

Everyone! I come bearing good news.

Xperia XZ1 Compact (lilac) will be getting Havoc-OS 5.x on 9th/10th July release.

You might be pleased to find out that, thanks to some enthusiasts 'unofficial' but highly appreciated efforts, LineageOS 19.1, Android 12 based, has been available for XZ1c since April.
I highly appreciate their work. Ive been using this build since it was released and its very stable. I wish it had more frequent updates, i might start doing that myself when i have the time eventually.

Grml, "lilac" was on the list, but nothing there yet... Went something wrong? Unfortunately there was no posting about the missing phones in general.

    IMS

All the carrier specifc are disabled by default. Only basic mobile data will work.

To enable carrier specific features, such as IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi or WiFi calling,

    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Enable "IMS features". This will pick and update the modem based on your carrier
    - A reboot dialog should pop up, and reboot.

NOTE: Above will only work if it worked on stock too.

Here as some FAQs if you run into some issue.

    What is modem crashing ?
Sometimes, the modem flashed may not be right (mainly due to lack of carrier updates). Due to this, the modem keeps crashing and so it can't connect sim in service.

How to know if modem is crashing ?
Your SIM won't get in service at all, and your wifi will disconnect and reconnect frequently.

    What to do then ?
    You can do 2 things:

    - Switch to 3G and wait if it works
    OR
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts
    - Turn off "IMS features". This will flash default modem which will provide basic mobile data and calling feature.

I have enabled IMS features, I have SIM connected, no modem crashing and yet IMS can't register. What to do ?
If the WiFi and SIM connectivity are stable but IMS can't be registered, it must be the APN issue. See if updating APN fixes it else contact me.

I didn't turn on "IMS features", but still I can't get my sim connected. What to do ?
Make sure to check if default modem is flashed.

    - Switch to 3G and wait.
    If it doesn't work then:
    - Go to Settings > XperiaParts > Status
    - If it says this "amss_fsg_lilac_tar.mbn" modem, then contact me
    - Else either reboot or turn on and turn off "IMS Features" or check your APN.
