Amazing ROM, thanks for this. Thought I'll keep on using this version since it's got the stock camera. It doesn't show the gallery shortcut in the corner of the camera, but can't be too picky when everything else is clockwork. Another problem I encountered is that I cannot use the double-tap to Ambient Display function. I use the non-gapps version with Pico. Tried rebooting and clean flashing but I'm not getting anything. The other methods such as lift and pocket are all working fine. Any reasons coming to mind for this?

You can get the Preview image activated in the camera settings.

If that is a major point for you,you should consider switching to the newer 4.X version. It uses google Cam and offers a constant preview of the last image or video on the bottom left.

No, not that major really. Tried 4.6 briefly before and OpenCamera also doesn't look too bad, so guess I can always make the switch later on. One I'm more concerned with is the double-tap) honestly. It was a nice way to reduce wear on the power button on these machines, even more considering how flimsy XZ1C's button feels compared to the previous Compacts. Wonder if there's something wrong with my panel or something.

In my opinion, this is the best soft on the XZ1C. It has the greatest functionality and the least errors among all tested firmwares. I tested softs from modpunk (A10), flamefire (A10), Havoc 4 and this Havoc 3.11.
I don't feel the need to ask any questions, because here everything works as it should.

Thanks for a great job.

After restoring a complete backup via TWRP (except "system image" because it failed to backup in the first place) some of my apps don't work anymore as expected, espacially those where I need to be logged in.
My idea of a full backup is that after restoring, the phone is in the same state as before. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. I need to log in again into some apps (like Ebay and Kraken, but these are minor problems), I cannot use my banking app which I need to generate TANs (need to set it up from scratch), some apps seem to be reset completly and have lost all user data and Signal crashes right away (need to reinstall and everything is lost).

Can somebody tell me, why is that so? Did I miss something during the backup or restore? Is there some kind of hidden partition where apps store important data? I appreciate every hint on this ;)

Good morning,
THIS is realy an AWESOME OS. The best experience, i ever had on the XZ1c.
Great functions like systemwide dark mode, night light and wireless adb are working great.
At first, i wanna say THANK YOU for presenting such a great working OS (y)

There is only one thing missing, one of my key functions:
hotword detection doesn´t work. Any ideas or tips?
Google Assistant works great, but no hotword detection.

What i did:
Installed havoc 3.11 on two devices, with gapps und without
havoc 3.9 the same..
havoc 4.8 too..
tried lineage 17.1 (Google Assistant breakes completely)
tried stock G8441_Telekom.de DE_47.2.A.11.228-R3C, no Problems there.

Greetings,
Bastian

Here is how i managed it:
Assistent gets activated via tasker & hotword plugin (tasker)
Works great even with userdefined hotword(s)

Gives the last kick & makes your great and fabulous os perfect for me :)

Is there a way with havoc to force the use of the Stock US Pie modem /system/etc/customization/modem/amss_fsg_lilac_tmobile_us_ims_tar.mbn?

I have a stock Pie rom phone on metro that won't pickup the correct modem. Even though the correct files are on the device. And the lack of VoLTE because of it is driving me crazy(er).

Hi guys!
Anyone can report on the battery life? I.e. how many hours of screen time do you get on average?
I'm wondering if that's better then stock Oreo rooted and with some underclocking going on and smart greenify actions...

Apps & Games
I also have issue with Settings crashing while trying to change ringtone etc. (but I can change alarm tone via Clock app).
Reinstalled OS twice, always following the steps and no luck. Solution is to install Google Sounds (com.google.android.soundpicker).

Hello and thank you very much for this rom! I wanna install it on my phone, I just got today a brand new Xperia XZ1 Compact (in 2022? I know right?) however, it's the Docomo version SO-02K, just wandering if this rom is also compatible with this version or not. Anybody else with a docomo version who has installed this successfully?
I've tried it but it keeps rebooting every few times and battery drain 😭 xz1c docomo ubl yes

I'll reply to myself here. After testing it for 5 months, I can confirm that the battery life is much worse than stock Oreo or Pie. I've now decided to go back to stock-rooted-Pie as it allows me to have double the battery life (using kernel adiutor and others). It also fixed the weird issue i had on this Havoc rom where the gps took forever to lock and it would rarely work when using gps-only. I also noticed that Havoc had stupid power consumption when turning on the sim-radio. I obviously lost the nice features of Android 10, but personally I care about battery-life and reliability when it comes to GPS.
I hope this helps somebody out there. Bye bye!

Battery drain 15% on stand by over night. Have naptime and greenify on...

Is this normal for this rom? I always run into battery issues...

In response to #478 & #479, I have a XZ1C docomo SO-02k variant, before Havoc 3.11, i had installed Lineage 20 - this ROM had good battery life, but does not have stock camera, I really love the auto macro mode in the stock camera app, so i decided to give Havoc 3.11 a try, after installation my phone was facing crazy battery drain, just lying there without even the WIFI or 4G/LTE connection ON and without any background apps running. the solution mentioned in the below post did the trick for me.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ning-on-so-02k-japanese-docomo-model.4345281/

After getting the fix done, overnight in a period of approx 7 hrs, the battery drain was only 2%, the non functional NFC chip driver was really the culprit, overall this 3.11 version of Havoc is very stable/snappy and I am pretty sure the battery life is going to get better over a period of time, any person having this variant of XZ1C and cares about stock camera/ stability & battery life more over the latest version of Android and other features, should give Havoc 3.11 a try, its really a great ROM. My special gratitude to the TEAM members of HAVOC..Cheers.

Hi. I'm having the same issue... Did you find a solution?
On LineageOS, there's an option in Xperia Parts which switch automatically to 3G on reboot and then switch back to LTE
I don't think I ever did, sorry. I've been on a different phone for a few years but I think I had moved to Bliss after this, maybe
