No... U have to flash Oreo firmware then this rom

The second post in this thread clearly describes the requirement for folks moving to this 9.0 ROM and those falling back to 8.1 builds. Suggest folks review that...

Apologies for not staying on topic. Has anyone seen effective management of the LED on the G5P phone? I see all kinds of custom color and/or blink settings in most builds but I don't think that they work. To be honest, I have not made an effort to really test the support. I have tweaked in passing and don't think I've seen anything but a white LED, on solid or flashing.

Very low priority for me, as I really don't pay attention to it. Just curious.

LED on our phone is a single color, white variety. No LED management will work.

It is my understanding that this is because the led is not an RGB led is a white led, so this is a hardware limitation

I'm on Arrow Os 9.0 and want to move to Havoc Os. Should I flash the Oreo Stock Rom first or I can directly move to Havoc Os by clean flash??

I think that Arrow 9.0 has yet to update FP/NFC support to Oreo. If this is correct, you have your guidance in the post, below:

For those who can not move to Full Stock Oreo and just want Fingerprint working can flash this:
Update to Oreo Firmware's FP firmware
Size: 582KB
From: OPS28.85-17
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid...78262904029635

Just flash this ROM, GAPPS, and then the zip found at this location.

Just curious, but if Havoc is based on Lineage OS, then why am I able to install unofficial Lineage 16 without going back to stock rom without any problems and fully working fingerprint sensor, but Havoc requires reverting to stock?

If Fingerprint sensor capability can be patched in after the fact, then why was it not part of the original ROM in the first place?

Just feels rather cludgy and more like "unofficial" than "official"

1. Havoc is not lineage-based anymore ( The thread info read wrong and is corrected now ) and it doesn't matter
2.Unofficial Lineage 16 is made long before this new fingerprint blobs were implemented
3.The process would make it easier for people already on stock oreo to move to custom roms
4.If you've felt like this process is more harder and difficult to do so , you shouldn't have unlocked the device in the first place

everything is good in this rom except one thing, please fix battery draining problem, when screen is off, its working good but on screen usage of battery is really bad. try to improve on this front, after all its best 9.0 rom available for moto G5 plus, without any bug or lag
