I searched for this issue but no go for me ;(

I downloaded this rom to see how it is...i love it and how the functions work but i noticed my wifi wont work..then on top of that im getting this warning message for my IMEI number...saying its invalid.

Can anyone help me plz figure out how i can get my wifi to work and why is my IMEI changed?

Mainly the wifi tho. I can still make calls do txts n search web but no wifi.

For your IMEI problem is that the IMEI number is 0049990010640000 lost and become a substitute identity (bastard). This is not necessarily a problem if your ISP allows you to still have the data in spite of this (if not all), Bouygues & FREE, it does, the others I do not know. This is a novelty in Jelly Bean to control your IMEI, it will, for the moment, it is only to control it, it could be worse (like block the phone). If you previously had a backup EFS, then maybe you will be able to recover ... me, it's been a while since I'm not in your case it does not bother me, just to start, that's all. But as I do not restart frequently. If you did not backup EFS, you have other methods to recover but not always functional, proof me.

Hard to use it as daily driver.

Second time I try Helly Bean, great Rom. But I just don't get used to it as a daily driver, this new version is a lot more stable, I love the touch recovery, overclock to 1.4 and HALO, but still, nothing seems to work properly when I need it and it is more battery hungry than CM, so I'll come back for CM for now and wait the next update.

New phone

Hi all devs and friends... I have gone ahead and purchased a Nexus 5. Its an incredible phone and am enjoying it a lot. Needless to say, I had its bootloader unlocked, rooted, installed custom recovery and custom kernel within the first hour of getting it.

I still have my trusty SGS i9000 which I have filled up with games and given to my little daughter. I will now be sharing time between SGS and N5 forums now. Will never actually leave SGS forums I guess

Nevertheless, I thought this to be as appropriate a time as any to thank all the wonderful devs and friends here who help out each other and keep the SGS relevant even after more than 3 years... kudos to all!!! :good:

PS: you will see this message in different threads... that is because I owe this to many devs and don't want to miss out thanking any of them.

Found link in thread, installed, also installed this mod and system wont boot... Its just SystemUI, should just crash SystemUI, but it wont boot Ill try again :]
