I wiped the factory data then I flashed the Rom per the intrusions in the Op then the gapps provided in the Op and rebooted and got stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S III screen
What recovery are you using? If using twrp wipe the system as well. If you got stuck on boot, then you didn't wipe correctly, or bad kernel, which you didn't flash.

You do realize we did everything . We spent many sleepless nights trying to get this booting and you abrupply kanged our code base.
Thanks for letting the rest of us users know. Stealing is stealing in any of its forms. Id like to follow you. Where is your OP they stole from? If I understand correct your team is working on android 4.2? Care to provide link or pm it? No biggy either way, i just don't want to follow this project if it was Kanged.

It's it possible to steal open source? I'm asking, because I didn't think it was?

Granted I understand if you've worked on something and someone else puts it out before you do then yeah.

I am also stuck at the Galaxy S III screen. I flashed per protocol (ROM and gapps), but came out unbootable. I did a 'Wipe data/factory reset' 3 times prior to the flash, but still no dice... does this require EXT4 filesystem? If so, what recovery would you recommend? I'm flashing with CWM 6.0.1.2. Thanks brosefs!

A side note -- I think that this threads kangers should work together with Cyanogenmod's team to faster roll out this work. It's obviously more effectively developed over time if there are more people working on it... and that's the case here... but there hasn't been any communication between the devs and the kang team/person. But anyway, bottom line, open source is much, much more badass if everyone works together.

"Technically" you could, if you get into GPL troubles, or not crediting the source of your work. Just objective facts, like switzerland.

Came from baked latest. factory/system/cache/dalvik wipe in that order flashed rom and gapps in same session.Thats how i did it. Again there doesnt seem to be any sound. but hey its a alpha so!

The switching to the settings tabs (kinda a miui type settings tab) from the pull down is pretty sweet and swiping between lockscreens is sweet to!
