prodigiez, I'm sure once more people get to mod this phone's rom we'll see many of those bugs and small missing elements get sorted ( like that video icon ).

What theme are you running, I think you mentioned ICS launcher if I'm correct?

I am happy to report, that 1.3 is much better (it should be!) than 1.2. Scrolling and transitions have been improved.

More importantly, I believe they've done away with the brightness restriction in this release! My screen is now properly, beautifully vivid again

Some minor things to note:
-My carrier name does not appear in the lockscreen, nor in the notification panel
-camera shutter sound always on

@prodigiez, where did you generate your theme? Was it from the UOT kitchen? I may be wrong but I dont think it supports our screen res yet...

Samsung Stock qWerty Keyboard Needed

I am happy to report, that 1.3 is much better (it should be!) than 1.2. Scrolling and transitions have been improved.

Do you think the stock Ej22 Rom's defualt Samsung keyboard NOT google keyboard ( I think the apk's name is AxT9IME.apk on the captivate ) will work on this rom?
I really miss the big keyboard qwerty that comes on the stock samsung. I have the tar of the EJ22 rom but can't extract the files. Do you think one of you guys could extract their keyboard apk and odex file and post it on here?

Neverborn is probably correct. Youtube it as well, plenty of videos that show how to use Odin. By the way im not a back fan of it, or mainly used it to rescue my old bricked Captivate. If you want the Odin, see the page I gave you a link to the file name is "Odin3_v1.85.zip"

Let me know how 1.3 turns out, post any issues up on here, I may just update this to be a 1.3 rom post as well as 1.2 and keep the devs busy. Depending on your feedback I may upgrade this or next week if I get time to mess with it.

I still can't get the camera shutter off on 1.2 but glad 1.3 is working much better for you.

I think the camera sounds are embedded in the camera app - Korea being a country where it's illegal to turn off camera sounds, i think.

I actually wanted to change my CSC to an asian one - but it turns out I don't have one.. I sincerely hope this isn't one of the phones where the /efs is important because I never backed that up before flashing TL...

As an update I ran into several bugs with 1.2 and will most likely be moving to 1.3 this weekend:

1. Phone reboots when I choose Shutdown from the Power button.

2. I switched my phone to silent mode, and ever since removing it I still found that my vibrate function was still on. It was supposed to remember my normal settings. I had to manually change everything back.

3. Screen brightness management once power is low is virtually bad, I need to manually adjust it back otherwise its too dim.

4. Battery drain - Im not sure if its caused by an App I installed recently but I've not been getting the same good battery results as I used to.

Overall its still a good rom just not as good as it should be though on the long-term.

1.3 have lots improvement. brightness reduced if battery lower than 5%. I just flashed that into a friend's device. Battery consuming is normal. At least it last a day with normal usage. Try to change the kernel as well...

Thanks man, I'll update this weekend just haven't had time. I already am using the same kernel as you ( tegrak kernel EJ22 )

By the way I've changed my build prop to Galaxy Nexus and got a few games to play on the market. Right now I'm loving the FL Commando and Soulcraft THD games on HD. Chainfire settings need to be altered / edited to get them working.

I need to play games when on the metro going to work after checking emails from home. I'm still playing FC Commando right now it kills time on the way to work in the taxi. On such a beautiful screen playing games is a must as is watching videos with it - which is what I do and is why I bought this phone. Its a work machine for me plus I have my entertainment in 1. I am sure why so many people admire us with this phone, especially with the gorilla glass. as well

But most likely this excitement will be short lived I see the next new Galaxy phones coming out in the news... scary!!!

Also with such a beautiful screen, I finally got a keyboard that is perfect for me. Smart Keyboard Pro... wow, no comments its exactly what I was looking for. All the languages ( I can remove the Baidu language / keyboard on the teamleader rom now ). Lets you even choose the skin of the keyboard eg. Galaxy keyboard, HTC, Iphone... so I got my Galaxy keyboard back and actually found the better all black skin.

Check out my keyboard on full black screen ( see photo attached ). Amazing isn't it?

Resident evil 4? Are you sure the game will play on our resolutions? I had to change my build prop to make the market think my phone is a Galaxy Nexus S (as it has the same resolution as our phone ) + install Chainfire 3D for the chips.

Most of the gameloft games don't work or if they do run, the screen resolution is not correct.

-re: alarm giving FC - i believe this is a know bug in TL 1.2, but is fixed in TL 1.3
-battery life - mine sucked on 1.3, but i used Voltage control to switch to conservative governor instead of ondemand. Much better battery life, but lagging and stutter abound. so:
-i tried out the V6 supercharger scripts in the Android Development section, and now i get wicked performance and great battery life, too

Now if only i could shut the camera app up...

I used to do 1 and 1/2 days on stock. Could you post a link to that V6 supercharger script?
