I'm not sure what could be the cause of that, are there others with this problem ?

I confirm this problem too. I'm unable to install any apk. files stored in micro sd. One more issue I'm facing here is that whenever I charge my phone micro sd cannot be read, it says sd card ejected. No more other issues aside from that. Still my favorite ROM. :)

This ROM is very nice and i apreciate it but i have a nasty problem.
The sound speaker is very awful when i pass half of it's volume.
It sounds like i have broken speakers.
It's this related to LOS ROMs or my speakers are really broked ?
I was on S.ROM before this.
Thanks
How are speakers for you on this ROM ?

It's related to LOS base. On any stock based rom your sound will be fine.

Excellent ROM but very poor battery life.
I'm only getting 4.5 to 5 hours from fully charged to empty.
Obviously I'm comparing this ROM to stock 7.0 and stock based custom ROMs, where I'm getting 10+ hours on a full charge.

I'm relatively new to flashing ROMs on the M9.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Testing crDroid 3.7 for HTC One M9

I've just flashed this ROM to my htc one m9 as i was a little disappointed with the Lineage 14.1 customisation options (compared to this ROM, there were hardly any!). I was getting poor battery life and overheating with it too. On this ROM, although it still gets very hot with SimCity BuildIT (and its visual performance degrades after 10 minute use, although it's a lot nippier than it was before initially!) but i've found that battery life is improved a little. Its still not as great as when i first got my phone (I'm sure the manufacturers do this on purpose so you get a new one every 2 years) but its manageable. Performance wise it feels a lot snappier now, plus you get a few more customisation options (well a bit more than a few but a little less than a lot, happy to accept a word for that!).

I've added Magisk 13.3 (although the filename says 13.6!?) to get android pay to work and I really like the feel of this ROM, so 1000 kudos points to the developers here and keep up the great work that you're doing. :good::good::good:

My next testing project is using substratum as i do have a preference for dark themes. This crashed out big time on the previous ROM so I will be treading with extreme caution! From what I've seen though, it looks like a promising theme engine.

And my next fact-finding mission is to find something that will enhance the damn battery and stop the screen from getting ridiculously hot

Tread with extreme caution.

I like you have been looking at non HTC stock ROMs, and like you just moved away from lineage OS.

I've only found one rom with as good battery life as stock and has fully working substratum support.

Unfortunately is not this rom.

Obviously I won't disrespect the development team of this rom by telling you the rom I'm using here, that's not fair on them but they also need to know this rom is much better than the current lineage OS, by far.

You are lucky you got 6 hours.

I flashed this middle of last week and only got 4 and a half hours just on stand by, no calls, data or WiFi being used.
Next day I just managed five hours.

Working over 10 hours a day and needing my phone to last ten hours or more (my M9 is my daily driver ATM) means I either have to place on charge in my work vehicle or if I have no vehicle/charging facilities available take my second device and swap over the sim when the M9 is dead.

That's a silly situation in 2017 and I've now unfortunately had to move to another ROM that gives me at least 14 hours use.

I flashed lineage 14.1 again.Try that.lineage 14.1 battery life is better that cRDroid rom.u can get at least 10 or 12 hours
