On top of most (I mean less the very latest SElinux denials commits) of haggertk picks or commits, I tried since a few builds this : https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_frameworks_base/+/233717
The Google's behaviour is unberable to me, and I realy appreciate this change. Feel free to comment on this, with the rest, of course.

Side note: I've learn quite a lot about audio in Android. I have now some more paths to experiment a possible fix for the BT calling issue. So please bear with me a few more... years. ;)

Good news is that whomever finds the bt fix will likely have found the fix for hlte*, hammerhead, a couple LG, and a couple other bcm bt devices. ;)

Thanks, but thats not my problem.
Google pay just installs fine and report functionallity.
It just nothing happens if i try to pay on e nfc terminal.

Is there way to test nfc?
Sadly i got no other fancy nfc stuff around me.
Try any metro card/credit card or others that use nfc. If you are not using original battery (only sold in samsung stores) then it might not have near field communication. Nfc tools apps are present on playstore

I did a quick test just a minute ago (with a Cards app using the NFC scan) and it worked. Although it takes some time to find the right spot on the back of the phone, but I think it is due to the fact I am using a bit thick cover (slim armor). I am going to test it in field conditions and try to make a contactless payment later on. Using the latest available build by haggertk.

Anyway are there any updates regarding the bluetooth calling functionality? I know it is broken since Oreo, but I failed to find any dedicated report in a bugtracker? Is it due to fact, that Note 3 is not officially supported by LineageOS?

Many updates on that topic. Still not fixed though.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

of course.... He's the official maintainer of Note 3.....
Pretty sure that haggertk guy doesn't know what he's doing. Just faking his way through everything.

More serious note, there's a change that my people claim might fix bt call audio. I'll be testing 15.1 tonight and will release a new 16.0 if that testing is positive. Maybe 15.1 and beyond might actually have a shot at shipping

    No not yet

    Just be patient :)

Haggertk is main dev primarily for s5 device , s5 also don't have SIM card working yet on pie. So as soon it get fixed there it will be fixed on note 3 as hardware wise s5/note 3 have basically same hardware.

haggertk is one of only two active developers for both klte and hlte. Both developers work on both devices. Especially considering that the two share libril (in msm8974-common), when it is fixed it will be simultaneously fixed for both.
