Cool, thank you for another Rom. I always wondered what this Rom is all about because I have read in other threads about this Rom often :D

Hate to be that guy but is the kexec hardboot patch included in the kernel? I would love to make this my secondary to test :) thanks for building, sharing, and supporting honami!

You should be able to make it secondary anyway, only the primary ROM/Kernel needs to have the kexec hardboot patch included. I'll test in a few and let you know.

Edit: I have my "primary" ROM as the secondary already and don't have the time to swap them at the moment, Installed BP as primary and left the secondary for later ... :) However I'm pretty sure that you can install BP as secondary if you have multiboot already set up on a different ROM/kernel. Take a look at the MB OP.

I have been using this ROM for a while as a daily driver, so wanted to give some feedback.

All in all it's a very good ROM, I love all the features built in. With no heavy gaming the battery life is pretty decent - about 3 or 3,5 hrs screen time. This is only a very crude approximation, since I never managed to deplete the battery - I'm always flashing something .. :)

I like how the options are set up and what they offer. Everything has its category and is very well organized. The density changer does not seem to work though, had to change DPI manually.

There were very few random reboots, never had the chance to take a log though. Restarted the phone and everything was normal again. Booting takes quite some time though :)

No touchscreen issues when I plug in headphones. Did not notice multitouch issues when gaming. ROM feels very snappy, never had issues. I also noticed that on older CM based ROMs my LTE connectivity was dropping, did not notice it here :) .

Sound is pretty good, the usual CM bug is still here, where sometimes the equalizer is not working until I enable visualization... Working afterwards. I guess here we need to wait for CM to take a look.

Thank you guys for making this ROM, it became my favorite pretty quickly :)

P.S. I've been experimenting with the scroll cache, but it did not seem to have a big effect... Is there a way to measure it better except of "it feels better/worse"?

Bug Report, Props

So,
I've been on Blisspop for a while now and looking very eager towards an update,
best would be with OTA feature implemented,
since it is a nice rom, despite some bugs. Here they are:

  • I can confirm the random touchscreen issues. Screen stops reacting at random times. Screen on and off fixes the problem temporarily.
  • Phone heats up on some download heavy apps, sometime randomly but on very rare occasion
  • I'm having some weird problems with google voice search, on headphone plug in it keeps tellin me to unlock the screen to use google voice search despite ok google feature disabled. this is annoying af.
  • battery life is mediocre, no significant improvement, but it wasnt promised so I dont mind it that much.
the other thing is that loading the device with a non sony usb cable is taking ages. dunno if this is a rom issue, probably not, if this is off topic just ignore. but when I was Jellybean weeks ago, I had significantly better loading times.
  • as soon as my notification bar fills up, the icons start blinking weirdly within my notification bar, as if they were fighting for space.
  • if I push contacts has a force close issue as soon as I access it directly

Guys, I'm seriously hooked to this lollipop ui. Wont switch it back for nothing, downgrading is wack
It was PA's job to create some feeling like this on 4.4. but now as I'm on the real thing its much better.

Some side things that suck is youre not able to use elements from
cm11 engine like boot animations and icons.
I dont want to use a launcher on top because the system animations are beautiful and I would cripple my UX.

Devs, your work is awesome. You've built one of the most stable LP roms for honami up to date.
Big thumbs up, keep on the grind! :good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good: :highfive:
