Looking great and gonna try it, but i have a question.

What is the difference between:

Slim-enrc2b-4.3.build.2.PCFR-UNOFFICIAL-20131025-1203(320dpi)

Slim-enrc2b-4.3.build.2-UNOFFICIAL-20131025-1733(320dpi)

Take a look to the 2nd post. The most recent&better is Slim-enrc2b-4.3.build.2-UNOFFICIAL-20131025-1733(320dpi).

Basically its a verry streamlined Rom with some uniqe and a cherrypick of popular features with the main idea to stay clean, fast and stable.

EDIT:

Menus sometimes are a little complicated, to remember and to find the right way...Carbon is MORE better organized with CarbonFibers menu.
In fact often sub menus are hiddens into a single row... The power of Slim is the absolute custom option.

- Many thanks, but I think that one week ago, someone would tell me the same thing for Carbon rom, isn't it ? I need more infos before i format my phone, don't really have time to test as this is my work's phone.

- Please op or anyone else, could we have screenshots in english ?

Thanks for all

You're right. English screenshots, next time and as soon as possible.
Both roms are stable (roots are same, CM with a look at AOSP+) and fast.
Differences are minimal and just a question of taste and needs, wich are strictly personal and you can approve only trying. Here few example in difference that I found:

1) Lockscreen: Slim=8 targets, Carbon= AOKP Ribbons;
2) Interface Transparency: Carbon has AOKP controls with better control; Slim allow colorized (Carbon has commits waiting for introduce);
3) Toggles: Carbon has animated toggles, camera toggle and a little bit more toggles to choice.
Etc. Etc.

Actually the only thing that me let choose Slim instead of Carbon is a little issue with the double tap on Home button. For the rest, Carbon is my preferred, CarbonFiber is an added value that makes Carbon organized and professional.

As you see the choice is strictly personal, only trying you can the best dress for you. :cowboy:

If you use your device for work as me, backup 'n try, backup 'n try, backup 'n try, backup 'n try................ :good:

If you have a little bit of time, take a look to the official board site, you'll find tons of informations, themes, addons and more...

@PippoX3

heads up a few big changes will be hitting the CM repo for the X+ in the next few hours (some have already been implemented)

http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/52602/
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/52404/
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/52398/

along with

http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/52599/

and there will be a kernel change once i get it to compile again along with a ramdisk change which is this

http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/52640/

these except for the ramdisk change are all for the new audio implementation, we are yet to upload the updated vendor folder, but i'm just making you aware of the changes needed.

pollyd+jpolly are no longer needed, and that's been removed from the ramdisk, i'm working on removing it from the commons folder and back into the endeavoru device tree, but for now you can manually remove it and stop it building.

-Lloir

*edit*

the kernel change is 100% required no way around it. for the correct audio to work once again

Really really Thanks a Lot @Lloir !
I saw last days the movements of polly's service from enrc2b to tegra3-common... but in other projects would have been more difficult to see them!

Libhardware & Libhardware_legacy --> are directly pick-up from CM to Carbon (Slim has its owns).
Frameworks_AV --> forked from CM to Carbon (Slim has its owns).

The rest is simple. Thanks a lot again. I will have a little to play about! :laugh:

Edit: Will be changes to kernel project too?
