Here is a basic ROM based on the new Sensation 2.3.5 leaked RUU

- Based on HTC Sensation 2.08.401.1 RUU
- Updated Market apps to latest versions and moved them to /data/app for easy removal if not wanted
- Removed HTC 'Snooping' apps
- Deodexed
- Rooted (SuperUser 3.0.7 & latest binary) <---NEW
- Added BusyBox
- Added init.d support
- Added Advanced Power Menu (Thanks baadnewz)
- Added XL 4x1 Clock widget (see screenshot below - thanks V6-Maniac) <---NEW
- Added a new hosts file
- Added the new Market (3.3.12) <---NEW
- Removed the boot sound
- Added ability to use your own boot animation - just copy the bootanimation.zip to /data/local <---NEW
- A few build.prop tweaks
- Changed the build.prop footprint to that of the XE RUU so Market apps should show correctly

- T-Mobile US Users: I've made no additions regarding WiFi calling or MMS so bare this in mind before you complain

- Stock kernel - 2.6.35.13-gc35910f htc-kernel@and18-2 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Sep 23 17:21:03 CST 2011

Other than that it's 100% stock. CPU runs at 1.2GHz (1188MHz)

This ROM is NOT built for speed - it's not a custom ROM in the same vein as ARHD or InsertCoin. If you want performance, go for them. This ROM is for those who want a stock experience with a few bits tweaked

I recommend the radio from the XE RUU if you're in the UK BUT I've no idea how it will work with US/other EU handsets. The RIL in this ROM is matched to the XE Radio

FULL wipe required before use if coming from a different/stock ROM, and I recommend using the Super Wipe script from the Revolution HD thread before flashing this ROM. If coming from a previous version of this ROM just clear cache/dalvik cache AFTER flashing the ROM and then reboot

There is no further support from me, this is just to let people use it. If you can't see something mentioned, it means it's not there. Simple as that

HTC Amaze Camera - Here a mod to upgrade the stock Camera to the one from the HTC Amaze. I'd recommend it as it's a much better app. Also includes the newer Gallery app which categorizes the photos depending on the mode used to take them. Mod courtesy of CdTDroiD/baadnewz (stock kernel required):

Thanks very much, i been waiting for this. I much prefare the stock rooted root (does that make sense?). I think htc are starting to get there act together with there roms for the sensation and all custom roms that i try have problems of some description.
Just recieved my device back from repair after complete brick so will be treading a bit more carefully in future!

Thanks for the ROM. Got a question for you. Did you make the same tweaks for this rom as you did with the Sensation XE 1.73.401.2? With that XE rom i got awesome battery life and wondering if i should switch to this one.

Yep, same tweaks. Seem to work well so should do the same here. I'm on 77% as we speak from 7:15am this morning but that is with very light use as I don't use my phone much when at work

Hi, very interested in making this my first customised ROM for my brand new, newly hacked and rooted Sensation! I have a couple of questions:

1. Regarding the Hosts file, am I safe to delete everything in it bar '127.0.0.1 localhost', save the zip and then flash as normal (presumably with verification off as it would probably now fail the checksum)? The reason is that many video streaming sites I use, like 4OD, depend on having video adverts load, or else they won't finish and you won't be able to watch the video you want. I've seen this before when using Roms which included Adfree, but because they included the full app I was able to go in and revert the hosts file. Here, it seems to be missing from the zip.

2. Am I okay to flash the battery with percentages mod found in your Sensation XE thread? Or will it not work on this Rom? Is it because it isn't deodexed?
