You can "untick" Disable audio effect in PHH Treble Settings(reboot). Enter AudioFX.app and while connected with headphone set, set Reverb: Bass and Virtualizer to 0%.

P.S. After those adjustments audio/sound initialize with delay(couple of seconds). To ged rid of the delay I enabled Phh Treble settings>Misc features>Force-disable A2DP offload.

Should I have a headset mode in audiofx too?

The headphones were attahched but I cannot see them in audiofx.

There is no issue with the headphones or device aa they were working perfectly with stock rom yesterday

In AudioFX.app touch “speaker icon” upper-right corner and see if you can switch to headset manually.

Just installed April ROM and can't see Netflix on the play store. Do I need to use version 6.26 with this ROM and where wpould I source the apk from.

The ony option is speaker. If I attach a bluetooth headphone I can see speaker and the bluetooth headset but still no headphone option.

Looks like the plugged in headset is not being recognized by AudioFX

Those settings work for PRA-LX1, maybe you need additional settings for your mediapad. Have you tried Phh Treble settings>Misc features>Use alternative way to detect headsets?

Thanks for reporting. I just tested, I have the same problem. To fix it you have to go to PHH Treble Settings -> Misc Features -> Audio and check "Force headset switch (Huawei default)", and Disable audio effects

@AltairFR I have used the Huawei GSI Partition kit, but I am stucked at point 8.
After executing "4-ProcessData.cmd" I have followed the Instructions: "Please reboot to twrp and lunch 5-FlashIMG.cmd", but the device does not boot into TWRP anymore. The Phone boots only into the Huawei eRecovery and in the Huawei eRecovery it is not possible to execute adb commands...

just want to drop a big thanks. Succeded in installing this on a PRA-LX1. To get the unlock code was very adventureous. I had no idea something like a "test point" exists

Dear community,
Couple days ago, my phone stop working and rebooted itself, I just discovered this when I put it off of my pocket.
Thinking that it was about I pushed a button when I was seated, I do not worry and let the phone booting.

After several minutes, no boot, just the LineageOS animation, and the phone finally rebooted itself to EMUI recovery telling me "Data partition severely corrupted".

I rebooted in TWRP, it took long time, and after having the control, checked the data partition.
TWRP was unable to mount the partition, any action to recover it failed.
So I used Terminal to launch fsck.f2fs tool to try to recover the partition, no way.
The tool told me that there is no error other than the last line "[FSCK] Other corrupted bugs [Fail]" it propose to fix the issue, but still, no possibility to mount it.
data partition is F2FS type, so using e2fsck could not be used.

After different attempts, I finally formatted the data partition, losing my data was not really a big deal. But TWRP failed to do this action, and the only solution was to let the phone booting, falling back in EMUI recovery and use the factory reset function.
After that, I rebooted in TWRP, data partition was here, able to parse it.
So I reformatted with TWRP, to remove potential bloat tools and data pushed by default from EMUI.

I rebooted the phone, normally it take a long time during the first boot, system configuring first startup and deploying default app.
I let the phone trying to boot for several hours, the battery was totally drained.
I charged the phone, let it rebooted under charge, and...... fail.

Rebooted to TWRP, checked the data partition, some folders were created, so the intiial startup seems to done something.
Reformatted data partition ad tried again. No way.

So today I am stuck in first boot step, LineageOS animation.

I think that my eMMC is dead, and the system could not copy/write something at a specific place, implying this situation.

I do not know if it is possible to copy the last boot log, connecting the phone when it is under TWRP should allow MTP transfer right?
Where I could find any relevant information? @AltairFR?

Hi, anyone can help me?. I'm trying to install leaos on my Huawei Mediapad T5 (i'm not new on this), but everytime i reboot It when It finish installing, It keeps rebooting when It has to show the first configuration screen.

Thanks man! I had a small error when I tried to resize the system but I was able to solve it and continue with the other steps. Everything works well!

Edit: I am having problems regarding calls. When I try to call, the call ends as soon as it starts.

I configured the APN a few times but the error is still the same, I try to call and the call ends but the other person's cell phone does ring and indicates that I am calling.

Edit: I fixed the problems I was having, changed the network type and.... I could call again!

I also reformatted the internal storage to fix errors I had with some apps. Now everything seems to be working fine, thanks for the help.

Hey!

Had stock emui 8 + root but now I followed the instructions pdf on the first page on how to install TWRP and my OEM Unlock toggle is greyed out. Before I downgraded to EMUI 5, it wasn't greyed out but now it is. I can't get the FRP unlocked. Boot loader is unlocked but not FRP. Weird. Anyone know how to solve this?
