There is an solution found to fix the SD card bug on Wp8.1:

It seems that in this video it's described, how the sdcard-problem can be permanently solved, so that we don't have to put the card out and in after a shutdown. Is this right?

Can this be implemented in the rom?

I don't understand the steps to do in the video. I can only recognize that i has something to do with visual studio. Can someone describe it more detailed?

Am I the only one who can't turn off the plane mode?

Happened to me as well, I flashed second rom before getting the first rom to the start screen.
Reflashed, made it to the start screen, flashed the second rom...worked!

Huge thanks to the developer for taking time to create this. Brought new life to the phone.

Oops i did it again

so i went ahead and dump extracted the UEFI.bin into individual modules. It may be possible to add, replace and/or modify some of these modules. huawei-ascend-w1-u00-uefi-bin-volume-dumped

Hello, i find only firmware, but no files for qpst.( https://vk.com/page-49205625_48960973 ).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=2799766 may give firmware and boot files(qpst) for w1-u34( it is locked phone?).
Can you disassemble the phone and change the motherboard?

unfortunately, He have not huawei w2.
Huawei w2-u00 can be loaded in the flashing mode(qpst), as w1.

don't get impatient. we have to thank wojtasxda for his wonderfull working rom 1.00 and for pimping the Ascend W1 to this state. If in the upcoming version 1.10 the sdcard-bug is fixed, this would be so great! Maybe in the future we can also copy maps on the sdcard.
