Hi Folks, I just installed this ROM to my brother's Note 2, and everything is working well except for Wi-Fi. It does not turn on client mode. It does, however, successfully enable the Wi-Fi hotspot. Any idea what might be going on here? What can I collect to help figure it out?

Could you post me the steps taken to flash? Also what recovery & version. What carrier?

We may have an issue with some of our weeklies not syncing properly. If you don't see lock screen weather, this could be why. We are rebuilding the weeklies now. Sorry for any inconvenience. I'll post when the new builds are up.

Just a heads up, we've pulled all of the 3/12 weeklies because there was an upstream change by CM that caused APN, no sim/no data issues across most of our devices . we are currently rebuilding a set of new weeklies with fixes in place. New builds will be up by tonight, thanks for understanding!

I flashed it a couple of days ago when I sent my G3 off for insurance replacement so I would have something to use while waiting and I have been very pleased. It's a solid ROM and runs great on this device. I personally haven't found anything I use to be unstable.

And that leads me into asking....is there a different kernel that can be used for this ROM that could help...(yes every phone is different) battery life is superb

I too would like to report reboots occurring. I have installed the latest weekly (OCT-M-WEEKLY-20160409-0747-i605.zip) fresh after Odin restore with TWRP 2.8.7.0 Factory Reset. I have been running the Rom for three days now and the phone has rebooted three times. Two times were when I was on a call and the other party hung up. The phone was unresponsive and I was unable to end the call and the phone rebooted. One time I was watching Dish Anywhere and it did it.

I would like to help chase this down if I can. I have installed SysLog from the Playstore. I am wondering if I collect a log immediately after the phone reboots, will it contain any useful information for troubleshooting? I really like this Rom and reboots are the only problem I have witnessed since installing it. Otherwise, very solid Rom and everything else is working perfectly.:good:

You are correct, I don't have an answer as of yet. The issue is known about we just haven't been able to figure it out yet. I apologize for any inconvenience. We still need logs from you guys with every rom update to help us chase it down. Thanks for your support & understanding!
