Did you find a fix for SMS....I have the same thing going on.
I have issues with SMS. I send one then the next ones fail. If I turn on then off airplane mode, I can send an additional SMS.

Ok I just wanted to post this here in case anyone else had issues. I am not a newbie and know what I am doing when flashing roms and such. I ran this the other day fine no issues, went back to TW no issues. Reflashed it (CM12) about 3 times to be exact and went back no problems.
I installed yesterday ran it over night, I went to reflash TW 4.4.2 and it wouldn't boot. I proceeded to flash CM again thinking maybe the zip got corrupt, booted fine. So, I re downloaded 4.4.2 TW again it wouldn't boot. So i pulled a log and it looked like it could not locate internal sdcard as it was booting resulting in a failure to boot.
So to fix this.. I had to:

  • Reflash 4.4.2 TW
  • Odin Stock Recovery with pit
  • Reboot and Perform a Full Factory reset in Stock Recovery
  • Reboot
  • Reflash custom Recovery
  • Reboot

I think the key here is that you flash a TW rom before odin. Some how it seemed like either my recovery or the partitions were screwy. Not sure if this a result of the way AOSP base Roms mount storage. Anyway, if no one else experiences this GREAT, but if they do that above is how I solved it. Great to see 5.0 on our device btw:good:

Lollipop flies on my phone! One thing that seems odd, everytime I reboot, I lose LTE. I need to go into the apn settings and either reset to default, or choose one of the apn configs with internet. There would be no selected configuration on each reboot. GPS also works flawlessly with the fix posted by one of the helpful XDAers. With continued development of CM12, I might as well hold off with my i605 until a 64bit powered Android comes out.

Love the ROM so far, awesome work @sbrissen ! One thing I notice is a constant kernel wakelock for mdm_hsic_pm0 so the phone never goes into deep sleep, anyone else also notice this or know how to fix?
I had this problem with CM11. it made me CRAAAZY. never could fix it unfortunately. my suggestion is to accept it and just move on and enjoy the ROM.

if that won't work for you, then you might be interested in this thread (an assortment of samsung phones are discussed here):

My only problem with it is the fact that it destroys the battery :)

EDIT: My phone did this with CM11 also...

Yes I did that and it is sticking. Even after a reboot it is still on "Verizon". Butt still no data.
On mine there is a choice "Verizon Internet", and that seemed to work, whereas plain "Verizon" did not. But I'm not positive that's really the case. It seems to vary a bit, and I get confused about which settings I've changed and which results I get....

Well, this morning I've got plain Verizon (with "internet" underneath), which is the topmost choice. And that seems to work, slowly, for MMS.

Just an fyi, I noticed a pretty significant battery drain issue since installing and have narrowed it down to the mdm_hsic_pm0 wakelock as well. That being said, this looks like a CM issue in general, and not something unique to this ROM. I'll try a completely clean flash to see if it fixes the issue.

I'm loving this rom! Is there a chance we could get the ability to turn off the menu and back button backlights? They are driving me crazy, lol.
Also, does anyone know how on the keyboard to make the globe go away to the left of the space bar? Thanks!

I flashed shift-LP 4.0 kernel and in STweaks you can disable the touch keys.
