Q&A

Questions & Answers

Why is MMS Crashing?!?!
With build 1.0 and up the default option if Our TransNebula Edition AOSP(which is awesome btw). If you were running TWMMS before hand you will need to delete your MMS data and then it will work properly.

Why don't the stock lock screens work other than swipe?
They do. First goto rom control and set the lockscreen to Note II. Then goto the stock lockscreen tab and select the stock lockscreen yyou want to use. Reboot. Enjoy. (Don't forget pass/pin have quick unlock option)

Why does my phone lock up on aosp or any custom lockscreens?
Well it shouldn't as of 1.2 as most options like ripple should be automatically disabled if you choose a lockscreen other than Note II Circle/Ripple

Why is everything to tiny yadayada?
Well the phone's screen is huge and I love this resolution. But if you don't enable Xposed Tablet UI then change the system dpi in build.prop to a value between 160 & 220. (Build 1+ has built in dpi switcher in custom apps)

Where can I get the wallpaper?
In the first post. Build 1+ will automatically copy the wallpaper to your sd card for use

Will there be a non-transparent version?
Maybe. But don't count on it.

Per App DPI settings aren't sticking?
The app dpi is preloaded for apps just for you guys. However no matter what I do the permissions can be set right and it will not stick so... after booting and installing xposed

1. Open ES file explorer
2. Click Tools > Root Explorer and grant Super User Permissions
3. Navigate to Data/Data
4. Set Permissions of data/data/de.robv.android.xposedmods.appsetting then change permissions rwxrwxrwx
5. Enter dev.robv.android.xposedmods.appsetting folder (you will see two folders cache & shared_prefs)
6 . Change cache folder permissions to rwxrwx--x
7. Change shared_prefs folder permissions to rwxrwxrwx
8. Enter shared_pref folder
9. Change ModSettings.xml permissions to rw-rw-r--

As of build 1.3 there are no preloaded DPI settings?!?
To many issues with people setting permissions ect ect so it has been removed here is the list of what I had everything set at.

Some settings in Rom control don't work?
Some of them I have to finish the code, some of them I have to redo the code. Im working on it! <3

Can we get such and such feature?
If its awesome ill try my best. Lol

Does Google Wallet work on your rom?
Why yes it does, and the fixed libraries as well as an xposed region checker hack are already included. Im working on a quick build prop switcher to change the device to galaxy nexus to set wallet up and then revert back. But for now you will have to manually edit the build.prop

How do I get into phone/phablet
You can't....this is a Note2 Tablet rom. :D

How do I change the apps for multiwindow tray?
If you followed instructions on install, xposed should already be installed and multiwindow manager already enabled in modules. So goto settings > custom apps > multiwindow manager. Leave the apps you want checked, then use the REBOOT button on the top right. If you exit and reboot another way the changes will NOT stick

Such and Such app is crashing every time?
If it is a stock app then I may have missed pre setting it in app dpi. Set it to 320 @ 480x854
If it is one of the custom apps (mainly fast dormancy), press home button and go back and try again, once you grant superuser on the apps you will not have this problem

Why is my phone reading as a Galaxy Nexus?!?!
I did this for people that want to use wallet as I have all the fixes and libraries installed.

For those that want wallet:
1. Flash rom
2. In recovery goto Sdcard and flash postwallet.zip selecting (setup)
3. Reboot and install xposed, then reboot and setup wallet
4. Reboot to Recovery and install PostWallet.zip from sd card selecting (done)
5. Reboot to system and enjoy

For those that do NOT want wallet:
Do nothing

To the **** nuts who say I kanged your work?
Dudes I spend 13 hours a day in a truck for work. Not only that but your so called mod has been around since um...lets see API 6 when live wallpapers started coming about?
If I need to know how to do something I certainly don't find it here on XDA, Mostly stack overflow when I have coding issues. lol so gfy. oh and I didn't ask you to help with a rom. You pm'd me and asked me to work on a rom with you which never happened as you disa****inpeared. Then later you show up and say I kanged work you never even did?!?! Let alone as simple as the mod is?!?! All I did was delete the pixels from tw_holo_background.png to make windows see through! You call this work?!?

Lots of people continue to ask for pointers on how to set up this fabulous rom, so I decided to hijack my old post, and help out. Most of these fixes were pointed out by Deckoz or L18, and I take no credit.

Clock needs to be set to at 320x480.

Just remember not everything isnt ully fuctioning thats an add on in rom control. But I wanted to get a release out for you guys to start playing with
Obviously, I'm still downloading right now, mind sharing what exactly isn't functional? Is it just mods labeled "add-ons"?

And this is a VZW base right?

P.S. I'll make a mirror tonight.

EDIT: about the base yeah I guess I can't read...
