i dont see a link to modems in that thread. i see firmware, all the root files, casual, root66, the pit file, etc. but no firmware. theres a cwm radio thread, but that obviously wont work. can you point a blind person to the odin version of the radio?

The radios are included in the firmware posted in the op of this thread.

just a heads up this rom will run perfect just need to set ro.tima=0 its currently set ro.tima=1

thats the only issue with this base because set to on/1 it is looking for new bootloader and reboots

this edit is in the build.prop towards the bottom

Beans, why not just update the OP and get rid of the other zip and save future people the headache of reboots etc. That is if you have the time. Thanks again for all you do.

This works great. It's ro.config.tima just to be precise. Not even a single reboot since 2 days. I am using the odexed version

Easiest way is via rom toolbox lite app available for free on play store. It has a build prop editor on 2nd screen (slide right)...search for tima and you will find it. Typically needs to reboot to take effect.

i ran odin using the tar file above ,odin ran perfect i got a green pass at the end. now i show baseband version vruemj9. good. but the build number is stil vrammc3, is this right? am i ready to flash deodex ? through cwm,am i ready to flash alliance rom 2? or b23? ant help

Ya u should be good. Mj9 is the radio. Build # is the rom base I believe...

Am I doing something wrong? I put the toltevzw_mj9_official_firmware.tar.md5 file into the PDA slot in Odin, booted my phone to download mode, and ran Odin. It says pass, but I'm still on my old rom. What did I do?

firmware is exactly that. firmware doesnt change your rom. go to settings<about phone and see what your baseband is

So if I am on b22, can I just flash the mj9 and wait for the new version b23, or do I have to flash the rom in this post also?
