Hola a [email protected],

Samsung really disappointed me... I think you too ! :)

Look i'm not gonna discuss ICS software update s*** or anything like that that thing,we talked so much time about it.
BUT
My point is;

In 2011,2.3 which is Gingerbread version of android came to our I9000s...

And all of the trouble we faced, started with that.GUYS did you ever look to Froyo? Gosh so fast and buttery smooth! But battery performance and UI seems like old fashioned...

I mean GB is not like Froyo.Samsung really don't care about this they just sell the device and "wow we sold xx million I9000/I9100/I9300..."

They don't care about software at all! :)

I know you'll tell me come on man forget that and let the good times roll but...

How many of you guys thinking like me? I just want to talk...

Samsung really pales to Sony in ICS support. My 2011 Xperia Arc running on single core 1G CPU got one 4.0.3 and two 4.0.4 releases in 6 months, and Sony hasn't even denied the 4.1 upgrade possibility yet. This really got me sold on Sony camp of phones. Looking at my friend's Galaxy SL i9003, it's still running on Gingerbread!

Little do you know....the ONLY reason why Sony gave the updates like they did is because they were absolutely blasted by X10 users globally for being slow and almost non-existant on updates.

Sony learned the HARD way and I witnessed it all. X10 users did not let them off the hook easy. Look at the crap poor Rikard Skogberg went through on the Sony update blog if you wanna just a small taste lol.

So to say Samsung pales in comparison isn't fair...because I dont think you have any idea what Sony was put through.

Samsung is a hardware company, not a software company. Hardware specs are good (for the money) build quality is so so (mostly details, like how the glass is not evenly cut and buttons are not perfectly lined out, software is bad. I bought a galaxy s plus, but that's the last thing I ever bought from samsung. The hardware is not that bad, but the software is. But they completely pissed me how samsung reacts if you reports bugs and security issues.
