I'm going back to cm9 as cm10 can be fairly laggy, especially with resource heavy games such as Dead Trigger, Dead Space, MC3, Nova 3 and Shadowgun.

I have a question though. Will all the apps I have titanium backed up with cm10 have any issues with cm9 when I restore them?

No it should not cause any problems as I have done it few times just make sure you don't restore any system apps.

Are you suggesting to toggle the setting in the car's head unit? Didn't seem to work. Also, the problem is not specific to my Ford's sync. I tried to stream to my laptop. Doesn't work either. Used to work fine on 9.0.0

I'm suggesting to toggle the setting in the phone, if you go to Bluetooth settings, you'll see a button beside each entry.
Choose the one of the car audio and toggle the "multimedia" entry

Btw, am I the only having "low memory" messages in the status bar?

It started appearing after I've installed dead trigger, but I still see it even after uninstalling it and then rebooted/wiped cache of the phone ?_?

Yep, CM9 is definitely the way to go for now. The games run very well with only the odd lag. I only had an issue with Nova 3 for some reason and had to wipe data and re-install.

It is easily as smooth as CM10 at his point for scrolling and app opening, and the stock browser works WAY better on CM9 than CM10. Hopefully though, the incredible developers at Cyanogen can get CM10 too work better than CM9 in the near future as I do like the rom and some of its options very much =)

Speaking of which, is there any way to get the bottom buttons to disappear like they do in CM10? This was a great option.

Kalim if you could consider in the next update just 2 things? I'm sure everyone would love to have it again like in v1.10

1) Taking screenshots when long pressing the power button and tapping "Take Screenshot"
2) When long pressing the volume buttons to select your music tracks, in v1.25, it actually switches tracks AND wakes up the device.

Thanks in advance :)

Edit: Nevermind i found it. For the Nexus S is the resolution 480 x 1800?

After the 10.01.2012 CM10 Nightly update, I have been experiencing battery charging issues and USB connectivity issues with Windows 7. My phone is not charging at all, and it won't connect to Win7 with different USB cables. Everything was working fine before. I have updated it with the 10.03.2012 update, and the problem is still there.

Anyone experiencing similar problems?

Hi, this is the CM9 thread, i believe you want to go here.

Anyone tried the two nightlies after the stable version

cm-9-20120909-NIGHTLY-crespo.zip

and

cm-9-20120916-NIGHTLY-crespo.zip

Is there any difference?

It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Q/A Post

    Q/A:

I have an extrange green color at boot and when I have automatic brightness setted, what can I do:
Go to crespo setting and change in gamma the values: ( by default values on google are 0,0,0 but I suggest you to explore the best you like) for me is:
    RED: 50
    GREEN: 46
    BLUE: 46

How can I do to make a clean install?
    Read that post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20485148&postcount=146

I have 2 times gallery app repeated and is buggy:
Install again gapps. This happens because you updated and no installed gapps after installing.

I need to go root with adb, but it doesn't work:
    adb root
After you can type "adb remount" or simply "adb shell" and you are root.

How can I do to enable KSM?:
Settings -> performance -> Memory Management -> Kernel Samepage merging ( KSM )

I flashed nightly 0520 and noticed there wasn't any Facebook sync/errors out. Anyone else notice that? Just curious.

    Also, kalim, where's 8.0?

my computer is broken. I'm waiting for a new one in order to prepare a new release. I hope soon we will have that v8.
