Some bad news...

Hi all
During this summer I'm trying to travel as much as I can, mainly because I really need some heavy relax from a non stop 10 months working row and being at home doesn't help that much
That said when I'm at home I focus on xda, so in these days I've deleted my whole building environment, started from scratch with fresh source code from latest Lollipop release and made some compilation tests. Here comes the pain...
Remembering that I9100 and I9300 have much software in common, it's understandable that they share couple of repository in the CyanogenMod project. Problem is that I9100 has official support, and I9300 has not, so I tried some custom code to make I9300 compile and it works, but it break I9100 compilation
So I'm afraid I have to suspend - for the moment and up to when I can make both I9100 and I9300 compile - the support for I9300 builds, while I9100 and P51xx will be getting my builds around the end of the month (if nothing weird happen)
This doesn't mean I'll leave I9300 back, but I can't make it work in time, so I'll have to work on it while been back at work, and it can take much more time...
That said, I'm also reconsidering the whole strict-aliasing and O3 optimization stuff, I'm oriented to compile 12.1 builds with just Linaro and SaberMod toolchains for stability sake.
I hope this post doesn't let you down too much, I really did my best, and I'll keep on working on this while I'll be at home (which means not next week) up to the end of the month.

Hi guys, I just flash the rom and the fix,is really fast and smooth but I have a problem, after setting my apn, the phone doesn't connect to internet(no data) . I have to set it in 2g until it connects, and then switch to 3g. Does anyone have the same issue?

I9300 EXPERIMENTAL 20150824 is UP!

Changelog:

• First CyanogenMod 12.1 (Android 5.1.1) public build!
• Sync time: 24 August 16:00 GMT +1;
• Build compiled with latest Linaro 4.9 and SaberMod 4.9 and no further optimization (probably the way my builds will stay);
• Test, test, test! And report back

Note: you MUST use the ROM as is (no mods allowed at all) to verify the absence of side effects, thank you :angel:
As for GApps you can both try with no GApps or use a light package of your choosing compatible with Android 5.1.1 :good:

marck use your rom and start and is labeled, it appears as a stain at the beginning, do not read the sim card and has much lag with crashes

I made a clean instal and full wipe , the rom is indeed fast , but the sim card is not reconized . i even tryed to reflash the modem and still unknow version apears , and there are some glitches when i switch the screen off , even the screenshots have them, i will instal some games to see if there are any problems

Nobody is perfect , even with google translate you tried and that's something u got to respect , btw i tested some games on the rom and i had no problems , just minor fixes the rom needs , thats all

We thank you sir , and if i may have a request for you , arter97 (huge thanks for him) discovered some ART tweaks to reduce memory usage, it trades a little speed for memory , and the bigest problem like he said on i9300 is the memory , this tweak may work on i9100 to because both have 1gb memory , if u have the time , please check them out , JustArchi is using them on the latest CM12.1 versions
