I have now used the Omega V25 and Talexop 2.4 that comes with Omega rom for some days ,,,

And I have not even had ONE bad situation or reboots or anything like.. So.. Too all them saying that problems in V25 is because kernel.. Not in my case..

All is working for me --- Like always with Omega Roms-

Did you install on top of 24 without full wipe and your stored wifi access points are intact?

Yes.. I did dirty flash over V24 -- But before flash V25 i flashed the NBE modems

Ok then, it must have happened later. I was messing with some xml files for some other issues and that must have broken it. I just thought it might have been the kernel because it happened some time due to a difference in encoding of stored passwords but if you didn't have the same it must be irrelevant.

Exactly the same here. Dirty flashed over v24. Flashed the NBE modem while still on 24 then dirty flashed 25. Not a single random reboot and not a single issue anywhere.

Dear All

Maybe i am stupid but i didn't succeed in having the same status bar as the first picture (on the left) of the screenshot post1.
I would like the circle couloured batttery bar + the couloured wifi...
I try to download the package ".zip" trhough the "Omega Files" soft and install it in recovery no way, tiall the defaul horrible battery.
I couldn't change it also with "Wanam Exposed" + reboot.
How could i do it, please?
Do you an apk ao a zip that do it directly?

Another question:
is it possible to have 5 and not 4 icons on a line?
I came from a galaxy Note1

Any ideas on how to have:
1/ the the circle couloured batttery bar
2/ he couloured wifi...
3/ More than 4 widget on a line => 5

Hi there,

I recently have TOO MANY reboots. Each of them would take about one minute and they are really disruptive.

I tried to reflash the ROM but it did not help. I tried search the forum but could not find the solution.

Please help!

i also experienced this with v19, also a friend of mine with official stock samsung rom had this with jb 4.3,
so i think its not omega related, more like samsungs fault... theyre just incapable

But remember to backup all your data casue this is wiping everything.

I have tried the app, the phone performed a factory reset but the csc didn't change.

Do you know the method flashing the csc file with odin? But where i could find the csc file?

Please read the following before flashing v25:

knox:
The new Omega is based on Samsung Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat firmware and it needs the new bootloader to work.
This mean the knox will be triggered and your warranty will be void, more info:
All you wanted to know about KNOX Void Warranty 0×1
If you flash Samsung's based Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat firmware there is no way to go back to Jelly Bean
If you are ok with this then continue, else you can get Omega v19 with android 4.3

Installation:
1. Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc) and save the backup to a safe place.
2. Flash the new bootloder and modems with odin
Bootloader -> BL_I9505XXUFNAD_481100_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
If you already have the new Kit Kat bootloader there is no need to flash it again.
Modems XXUFNBE -> I9505XXUFNBE_GSM_LTE_Modems.tar
Power off device completely, then boot to download mode and flash bootloader (if needed) and modems with odin
Then boot to android and check if the new modem XXUFNBE flashed ok (if wifi is not working is normal)
3. Boot to Recovery --recommended TWRP, get the latest version from here -> http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/182--
and flash Omega and then boot to android.
You can flash without full wipe if you are coming from a previous Omega Kit Kat version, if not then flash with full wipe
PLEASE FOLLOW THE EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ELSE YOU WILL HAVE VARIOUS ISSUES!

Samsung Keyboard:
Samsung Keyboard was not included in Omega v25 by mistake.
Download and flash Samsung Keyboard from Omega Files Free and Pro or from here.

EDIT: All download links updated 16 March to Omega v25.1 with the only change the fix of the Samsung Keyboard Bug.

I seem to be having trouble downloading Omega ver 25 4.4.2.. The main link has said it's slots are all full up for the last two days and I don't know how to deal with a .torrent file that is about 17 kb.
Obviously, I need to be educated on torrent. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You need a torrent client to open a .torrent file, then you can download its contents. Personally I always liked µTorrent and Vuze. There are also browser complements that may work as well.
