[ROM][ICS][24/12/2011] Ultimite 1.1 4.0.1 - AOSP/SENSE Camera Hybrid!

For debugging purposes:
i installed this rom on my HTC Sensation XE (unbranded)

gprs/hsdpa works fine
graphics seem smooth as ever, and and looks crisp&clean! (incl. theming etc)
WiFi has some problems, only connects to router on install, after that it couldnt find any hotspots.
Browser hanged up a couple of times, and the dialer broke up a couple of times during calls.
Bluetooth A2DP 'hangs' a couple of times, but continues in no time.. (as if it goes to sleep > wakes again)
thats all i could find, havent tested GPS yet.

Guys how to install blue dialer and ics contacts i try flashing zip file dialer/contacts from page one but both dialer and contacts are same green-white?

Edit: found a solution , didnt know that when we flash zip file from page one we get both dialer and contacts from ics and from rom original one.
Only thing left to fix for me is when the phone is password protected again is ugly green-white colour unlock screen..

Just installed this a few hours ago, and have been playing around with it. I told myself I would resist moving to an ICS ROM until we get something stable, but caved in and thought I'll just give this one a look then go back to Gingerbread.

Mistake!

Now I can't bring myself to go back. ICS is so beautiful and functional in it's AOSP form, not to mention graphically smooth as well. Don't think I'll be able to go back now.

Great work and long may it continue. I can't wait until we have a stable and pure AOSP ROM to run ICS on the Sensation.

Obviously as a very early build, it has its quirks, some things don't work as intended, but all in all this is actually easily good enough to be a daily driver. Any of those quirks you come across are things you'll be able to ignore or get used to, and apart from potential incompatibility with certain apps (i.e., Spotify) I see no reason why anyone in search of AOSP wouldn't want to give this a whirl until things are more refined.

This is christmast gift ROM and the most amusing rom ever. every one have their own specific problem and set up which browser do you use aosp browser or sense browser ? My set up : sense status bar, aosp theme, htc dialer, htc contact, htc mail, aosp keyboard, aosp battery/signal indicator, white clock (it should be blue since I flashed aosp default theme), aosp gmail, htc system setting, aosp lock screen, aosp launcher ... and other funny but great set

yea im trying to fix systemui.apk
if i put it in the main rom, it doesnt appear
the systemui u gave does the same but works in the gapps method.

im trying to get rid of gapps
trying to decompile the framework but fails (nobody has figured it out yet)
fixing the camera addon and adding a revert option
adding more htc addons

That aosp systemui gives only one error and that is static network signal... I don't know what other problems you are facing with it...

i prefer a nonsense ROM with ICS launcher and AOSP messaging, browser, gallery and email... Nothing else impresses me of AOSP...

I don't mind keeping HTC dialer, notification lockscreen or even settings intact...what we all need is a good user experience with snappy room.. and this ROM does it well..


Don't forget to remove weather video files in ur next ROM... It will become the smallest nonsense ROM based on ics...

thanks jj. Na ur systemui gives no errors. and tbh lol ive never had the empty or full signal bars problem, i get 2 or 3 bars as well.
If i combine gapps and ultimite together settings is missing and so is systemui.apk

Anyone know how to change green-white pin screen when we password protect phone? I have a blue bean live wallpaper and on a first flash of this rom when i pin the phone password background was like wallpaper now that was changed after flashing few zip file fixes looks very bad

It's already included in this ROM... maybe AOSP cam patch has removed HTC one... Anyway if it's removed then flash file on post # 392 in this thread, beaware it will some other mods too..

i personally checked it on freshly installed ROM, it was working..

There can be two reasons.. Either you are flashing on virtuous ROM on which it doesn't work OR you have deleted fusion.apk file....

It only works with this ROM or on a full sense ROM that has HTC lock screen removed using NoSense script...

You can Flash attached file to get back to stock sosp lock screen....

Found a weird bug. I have been playing around with the bluetooth trying to test it and have discovered the following:

Audio headset works fine.

A2DP works fine, but a bit laggy.

Bluetooth tethering works fine (which never worked in GB Sense ROMs)

PBAP contact sharing doesn't work for sharing the contacts but bizarrely does work for sharing the call logs? (how odd is that)

I expect there is some sort of permissions issue somewhere as it doesn't work in other ROMs based on the leaked ROM either, so it can't be the AOSP phone book that is causing this issue. Any ideas anyone and does anyone know of an app that can initiate a PBAP share instead as I really need this to work?

Hey Bro I just wanna say Thank you so much for the awesome rom and your hard work I am using your rom from 2 day's now So far it's awesome, battery life is ok too, Sorry I just wanna ask one thing, Only one thing is missing from this rom I think, Do you know the incoming call screen from ICS has a option to send a quick text, Is anyone is able to find that screen ICS If you can upgrade this on your rom this will be 100% ICS rom and yeah i have also rated 5 star to your post Thanks again

I flashed this ROM last night and its working well.

Only facing a few problems i.e. in settings when i tap on sound, it shows the error message "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped".

when I power on the phone or restart the phone it gives an error "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped". pressing the OK shows the lock screen and from there everything seems to be working fine.

turning the screen On, I can unlock the phone by double tapping the lock screen.
