Well, got fed up and did a full ruu.
and... no change
still wont turn bluetooth on. I guess its broken hardware. Weird though, because the Wifi has and still does work excellent...
Oh well...
and... no change
Oh well...
you have to flash rom cleaner immediately after flashing the rom. do not reboot after flashing rom. rom cleaner should leave sense framework but remove all/most of the sense components but you should be able to keep sense camera or any other good part of the sense if you want.ok, so i cant get rom cleaner to work. after the rom boots, it shows the top bar with the antenna working and all, but the rest of the screen is blank. almost as if there is no launcher installed. tried all the launches. have tried the kernels listed too, including stock.
gave up on that, and just flashed revolution hd as is. it works fine, but i noticed bluetooth still doesnt work. definitely not a rom issue this means!
so i am going back to hypernonsense... but need to figure out why the bluetooth is broken. tried going back to 3.32 firmware and still no change. what else could i possibly need to do? hboot doesnt have anything to do with it does it?
believe me, i read all the directions and did just as you say. it didnt work, and i superwiped and tried 3 times.you have to flash rom cleaner immediately after flashing the rom. do not reboot after flashing rom. rom cleaner should leave sense framework but remove all/most of the sense components but you should be able to keep sense camera or any other good part of the sense if you want.
I did not tried it myself so I'm asking if I would get any good of it
Freshly installed the ROM and Bricked kernel.
First boot passed, let the ROM to settle for a 5 min...reboot...WiFi wont turn on.
Tried Faux kernel...still the same.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: with *#*#4636#*#*, the phone gives the following: Supplicant state : UNINITIALIZED
EDIT 2: with stock kernel WiFi works
Yeah, You were right...partially...the problem was with "other" kernels (Faux & Bricked).not sure. do you have the right radio flashed? and the right ril?
i can attest to this, hypernonsense has NO flaws that i can see after a month of daily heavy use. i just set up two other sensations on this rom. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! bluetooth works on those phones as well, so my bluetooth problem seems to be hardware related (funny that wifi works perfect but bt doesnt work at all). even on stock rom my bt does not work.
so whatever issues you are having, its not a hypersensation problem. if it works on stock rom it should work in hyper. I FREAKING LOVE this rom, it blows anything else out of the water as far as speed. and reliability has been 100%. also no issues with games! everything is just lightning quick with excellent battery life... can't say enough, i just don't know how this rom isnt more popular. the android revolution seems to get all the attention but to me that rom is bloated crap!
agreed, flashed this rom bout 3 days ago, i once had more than 3 hours of screen onYeah, You were right...partially...the problem was with "other" kernels (Faux & Bricked).
When I left the stock kernel everything is good & BTW, my Bluetooth works fine.
you can try that, it's harmless? try restoring the advanced way so you can pick which you want to restoremy phone was dead and i accidentally turned it on and while it was on the boot screen (white screen with htc logo) i pulled the battery. Ever since i'm stuck on the boot screen. I did a backup in recovery and flashed another rom, but i'm hoping to restore my recovery cause i like hypernonsense better. Can i remove the boot.img from recovery and just restore that? THANKS!!!
yes it is compatibleSorry in advance for resurrecting such an old thread.
Is this ROM compatible with S-On and 3.32 firmware?
Trying to find a fast ROM that'll hopefully speed up my old Sensation a bit and this seems pretty minimal. Any help would be great, thanks!
