I use AOKP on my Nexus, so I'll have to keep an eye on this. Out of curiosity can we change the dpi with this? I wouldn't mind my icons being a tad smaller .

You can always change the dpi in build.prop but you will have app compatibility issues in the market. There is a hacked market (market before google play) that allows you to use any dpi but it wont not work anymore as google play updates it immediatly when firing it up loosing the hacked one.

yeah im trying to get umts_everest to work, i got it to the point it should switch from bootscreen to desktop, the backlight will turn on and out in a loop there and for some reason it doesnt boot. gonna check logcat tonight.

Anyone willing to help testing it with logcat etc ?

For stingray and wingray i have to clean out some nexus specific scripts/tweaks, fix su root and add music player back. It should be out of RC and final release then

i could help and test it..if you tell me how can i logcat..

i can't download any apps from the market...
wiped data, cache, dakvik cache, before installing the ROM..
the error i got in the market was some 101 error ..

restored my nandroid

otherwise the ROM is freakin awesome

but if this is AOKP i cant wait to try once a few annoying things are sorted, like root included, etc... i use AOKP on my nexus and tbh it smokes cm9 in my eyes..

This rom has definitely a very good potential
After a full wipe here are my results on MZ604 :

Cons:
Gallery does not see the microsd card
CPU control values by default are 350 min/ 1200 Max
Google voice not working ( mic problem ? )
Google voice language output does not accept foreign language ( ex french )
Would be nice to have a volume slider
Face unlock not working but I dont care
Would be nice to have the led status while charging


Pro:
Pretty pretty fast ! Real pleasure to use
Vpn connections are working
USB hard drive supported via ntfs mount
Still working with less than 15% battery ( currently typing with 13% left before Xoom was shutting down)
Lots of parameters/toggles

Keep up the good job!
If I find more troubles will let you know.

Thanks for the feedback, im testing final release as we speak!

As for status update for the MZ601 EU 3G i got it to boot up, i can get signal but no data yet. Still working on it!

Im sorry m8 this would be app related, i cant test google voice as i dont use it but i certainly will look into it in future updates. now the most important thing for me is a stable - fast system with all the base function working.

I will need confirmation from others that its not working also. does a sound recorder program work etc ?

OK I understand. Maybe flashing a new gapps version would fix it? Any suggestions for gapps?
As for mic, yes, it is working fine, tested with some voice recorder app

- even more responsive / performance / speed !!
- after first bootup (rebuilding cache after full wipe) following boots faster thank to boot boost
- New google music player added back in the rom
- Root problems fixed
- Speeded up SD-card read/write
- better cache handeling

I think i squeezed almost all responsiveness / smoothness out of it now, hope you enjoy it!
