I've run into some issues and they may or may not be related to this rom, but I need help and I figured that id start by asking here.

I've been using Civato's ROMs for quite some time, and have been using CWM to make backups before updating, etc. I've saved several backups to the internal sd (the built-in sd, not a micro sd card), and now my memory has maxed out. The issue is that I cannot delete these backups now! The clockworkmod folder seems to be read-only, while all other files on my sd are not.

I have tried normal deletion via a file manager, deletion through a file manager w root (Root Explorer to be specific), via terminal emulation, and even via my pc. I also looked at CWM and it doesn't have an option to delete backups like my phone's CWM has!

So, I am stuck with maxed out memory, and over 6 gigs of backups that can't be deleted!
Anyone have a remedy? Id like to not have to wipe my sd if possible, but ill do it as a last resort. I just don't want to have to restore all apps and settings.

To me this sounds like the file permissions are keeping you from deleting the backups. Using Root Explorer, you should be able to change the file permissions. I don't have it installed at the moment otherwise I'd walk you through it.

It turns out that, for whatever reason, when making backups to your internal SD using CWM, the backups show up in /mnt/sdcard/clockworkmod, but they act only as a sort of mirror of the actual location. The backups are actually stored in /data/media/clockworkmod, and can only be deleted from there. Once deleted, they will also disappear from the /mnt/sdcard/clockworkmod location.

It is REALLY weird and took me forever to find the answer! I wanted to put it here in case someone has the same issue though.

As for my recovery, I added a new one: "A500 Public Recovery v0.2 based on Koush's CWM v5.5.0.4"
I hope that this is a good one and is fully compatible with all of Civato's ROMs.
(The first post says:
"For Aroma installer you need to be on one of the following custom recovery's
ezterry's A500PubRecovery
or
TWRP 2.1.3 (not 2.2...)
or
Thor 1.7.3

I am assuming that the one I installed is the "ezterry's A500PubRecovery" ?

There's nothing I can do to increase battery life? I've had the other flexreaper roms and this one drains my battery faster doing the same activities.

here's how to on cwm:

go to in recovery enter "Backup and Restore" and click on "Toggle backup and restore of internal storage (/data/media)"
should say enabled....
then go into "Mounts and Storage" and "format /data" or do factory reset.
this will REALLY format data and you will loose all you have in the in the internal memory.

Can anyone help me overclock? I've did a little reading and know over locking will make the tab run faster but I couldn't find how to do it so if anyone can provide any info on over locking for me I'd appreciate it.

I've downloaded it but idk how to use it and I haven't been able to find any tutorials to tell me what to do to over clock so can any help me out?

the trouble is that i have allready done this procedure...maybe it did not worked becouse i have team win recovery instead of thor's?

TWRP won't run the Aroma anyway, so if you're looking to flash the ROM you'll probably go to CWM anyway.

Sadly, I recently recieved a SoD on a ROM that lasted for over a month without a bug... What is it? I havent installed any apps for a week. What could make this damn SoD?! Plz help, the New Year is very soon)

Boots Forever

Hi i need help on flashing this rom. I've already on ICS V8 UNL-BL and do full wipe using TWRP_2.1.3_ICS_recovery. Aroma is working and successfully installed ICS-4.0.4 FLEX-Ressurrection-Aroma_Rev1 rom. However, when i reboot, the boot animation shows but it takes forever...
Im not sure if i missed something.

One thing makes me confuse. -> format flexrom. I'm not sure how to do this using my current recovery...

note: this is the first time i flash a custom rom. Im previously on HC.

You will probably need to flash the boot img. file that is in the Rom. I'm not the one to tell you how since i never get it right i just know that is probably the problem your having.

hi i am trying to flash the boot img in fastboot mode but in cmd prompt, fastboot is still waiting for the device. i've already installed the correct driver from asus and it is already recognized by my computer. i'm not sure what's the problem

Try flashing another ROM from scratch (full wipe) to see if the SOD persists.

Don't believe you can format just the flexrom when using TWRP.

    BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING PLEASE BE SURE TO BE ON THE ICS UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.
    HOW TO DO THIS UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER THING?

    For Aroma installer you need to be on one of the following custom recovery's
    ezterry's A500PubRecovery
    or
    TWRP 2.1.3 (not 2.2...)
    or
    Thor 1.7.3
    or
    ra-recovery 3.17 (recovery-ra-iconia-3.17-gnm)

    INSTALLATION
    -first take a full nandroid backup !
    -First time installing this rom = wipe all , factory reset , format and make sure to format flexrom!!!
    -flash rom first with cwm or RA recovery
    -Reboot and do your settings.

    As I already mentioned this is my goodbye to the active community.
    I will still jump in to read some stuff but active support or new rom releases is just not for me anymore.
    Life got other plans for me.

    I joined XDA as a noob and to be honest I still feel a noob compared to some of the supurb dev's here on XDA.
    I would like to say thanks to ezterry , thor2002ro , vache , spica1234 , Stefan Gündhör , Skrilax_CZ , blackthund3r , Euclid's Brother , smaury , Moscow Desire and many more.............
    In some way each of you helped me doing my thing.
    I probably made some people mad but no hard feelings from my part.
