I've got the same problem with the camera acces and I have enabled it.Well for your first prob you have to go to display settings and enable camera access.
For you second problem reboot into recovery wipe cache n dalvik and fix permissions and then try again.
This also maybe sd problem as far as i saw in some cases in my store.
Backup all your sd data and then format it via settings in device and try again....

did you try to FullWipe your device?I've got the same problem with the camera acces and I have enabled it.
Tried in every way but it doesn't work.
Yes, did the three wipes twice. Every other motion thing works except for this one. So my question is: has anybody tried this and worked?did you try to FullWipe your device?
I've same "problem". In fact, Camera Motion only works on lock-screen, without any pattern or security added.I've got the same problem with the camera access and I have enabled it.

Thanks, you're right, it works only on lockscreen. But why is that, when in camera motion enable, there is a demo on how to do this but not even there works. At least they should have said this works only on lockscreen.I've same "problem". In fact, Camera Motion only works on lock-screen, without any pattern or security added.
If you have a screen-lock by pattern or sim, just forget it! The finger is not recognized, of course...
Once you configure your lock screen without any security, Camera Rotation works. You must also activate the Motion features.
It don't works in any other situation, i.e, home screen, into an app, etc.
It looks just likely almost unuseful... I hope Samsung will understand that it's an unrealistic feature, as is programmed now...
Not to sure about going straight from jb to ics. Just do the procedure you did when you flashed jb the first time but in reverse order (from what i read, if coming from ics flash first a cm9 based rom than flash jb). Again I not sure about this.I want to go back to a stock ICS rom, is it safe to do straight from JellyCore (Hydracore kernel) and can I do it via CWM because I'm unable to connect via usb (so no PC-Odin).
the only difference to yours is, that this one is deodexed and some missing CSC-Files added...so if you plan to add some mods (which are actually available for deodexed ROMs), you could flash this one...otherwise there will be no difference at allI've got a stock ICS from this thread with speedmod kernel.

Could I flash this rom and is it worth upgrading to this rom or benefits would be negligible?
Thanks
Yes you can-Hydra core kernel is safeI want to go back to a stock ICS rom, is it safe to do straight from JellyCore (Hydracore kernel) and can I do it via CWM because I'm unable to connect via usb (so no PC-Odin).
It's a safe kernel no worry...This is the very first ROM I've ever flashed on my Galaxy Note and it seems to have worked fine. My phone seems so much faster now.
I used Abyss Kernel to install the ROM
But what I wanted to check is the Kernel that is installed with this ROM a Safe Kernel or a Standard Samsung Kernel that isn't considered safe?
I don't recognise the name of the Kernel on the About Phone Screen.
Here is a thread concerning Safe Kernels for wiping AND flashing by recognized contributor chasmodo:This is the very first ROM I've ever flashed on my Galaxy Note and it seems to have worked fine. My phone seems so much faster now.
