So its possible to brick your device flashing this rom?

sent from a 96gb N7000
Don't listen to them, there is always a chance of bricking when flashing whether its official or custom stuff. Yes the chance of bricking while flashing this is slim but if it happens the last thing xda needs is you blaming the developer because his from bricked your phone when people said it wasn't possible. I'm currently running aokp and had no problems flashing from anti's asylum but please read and be safe, I'd hate to see you turn you're note into an extremely expensive brick :/

I think the term "Safe" here means exactly what you meant, in general term this is what every sensible user should understand.

If you talk about your daily activities and in view of what you are trying to portray, actually sleeping in your bed is also not safe, who knows what might happen if you are to make a wrong turn and fell from your bed and coincidentally hit your head? But you know it is safe to sleep in your bed, right?

The above is only an opinion, don't paint a wrong alert here and you see a few more unnecessary cluttering of uncalled for worries.

Just my opinion, no offense please :)

No offence taken brother, I just don't want people telling others that its perfectly safe only to have fingers pointed after something goes horribly wrong :)

I just flashed this coming from CM9 and so far it runs great. Absolutely great to have AOKP on the Note.

I'm really looking forward to future releases, especially if you manage to implement a dual boot option!

It is perfectly safe if you are doing the flash correctly :) otherwise its always unsafe on any
Mobile device in the world. Period.

Can confirm the battery issues.

As per CPUspy it rarely goes into deep sleep:

1400MHz 4%
1200MHZ -
1000MHz -
800MHz - 2%
500MHz - 3%
200Mhz - 88%
Deep Sleep- 1%

Total time 1:26

The phone has been sitting iddle most of the time.

On the BetterBatteryStats:

Kernel Wakelocks

There is a "PowerManagerService" that has been on for 1h 15m or 85.6% of the time.

"vbus_present" has also been on for 34.1% of the time.

Partial Wakelocks:

UPnPService 82.6% (that's doubletwist that I used to test video playback)

Scaling governor was ondemand and I haven't messed with any settings.

Edit: After some digging I think the problem might be with doubletwist's airsync.

Probably an app as you said. Although I get strange kernel wake locks with certain wifi networks. Always have. Think its something to do with the wifi constantly 'pinging' the phone and waking it up

I have to say Stunner has this ability and so does CM9 to change the screen to dynamic. I also cannot locate this setting in this rom anyone else with any ideas ??

When i had Galaxy S with AOKP it used to have Galaxy s settings with option to change Gamma Colours and my Galaxy S screen used to look more vibrant. I am missing the gamma correction feature here

The gamma correction is in device settings>from control> performance. I don't think its been implemented in the kernel yet though... please correct me if I'm wrong

This ROM is nice but the kernel is draining the battery too fast, I get SOD every time it sleeps I have to remove the battery. so I flashed Franco R4 and it worked beautifully but I can't access my SD card Samsung 32GB class 10. Flash back CM kernel and I see it.

Anyone know how to manually mount the SD card via terminal or adb? I did edit the file in etc/vold.fstab but still no SD while on Francisco R4.
