At first I must say, that my ROM has 3.0.31.1 kernel by my friend from 4pda forum - NowenUI. It is the first CM9 ROM with the third kernel (but works not all the third kernel's features, some are still from 2.6.x.x)SMOOTHEST cm9, better than maclaw's one?

No ****, sherlock! There is several variations of the ACE. For example, S5830M/L/C/i/, not all roms work on all variations.
If you look at the very top of the post it clearly states S5830. Is there any mention of this rom working on any other variations....no.
I suggest you not to use any ram/boost/sound mod tweaks. It is almost a trash scripts. As you can see, i have not used any script in my ROM. All works fine without it.

I donot use an ext partition. For me it is enough place for my apps. All depends on how u use your phone.
