New update for the GT-N7000 aka Galaxy Note. Using latest CM9 and AOSP sources. Still not succeeded in building a JellyBean ROM. Be patient with me.

Changes in version 1.00:
  • Updated to latest CM9 code.
  • Updated to latest CM9 kernel.

Download links:

Sources:
GitHub

Credits:
  • CyanogenMod - incredible work
  • teamhacksung - thanks for creating the CM9 N7000 sources

First time installing Ganbarou GT-N7000 to your Galaxy Note, or coming from another ROM:

Upgrading from earlier Teamhacksung build or Cyanogenmod nightlies or Ganbarou nightlies (NOT Imilka's or any other build):
  • Copy Ganbarou ZIP to your internal SDCard
  • Boot into Recovery
  • Flash Ganbarou zip
  • Wipe cache partition and dalvik-cache
  • Reboot

Old stuff
Changes in version 0.11:
  • Updated to latest CM9 code (RC2).
  • Updated to latest CM9 kernel.
Changes in version 0.10:
  • Updated to latest CM9 code (RC2).
  • Updated to latest CM9 kernel.
  • Changed back to normal Email and MMS application.
Changes in version 0.9:
  • Updated to latest CM9 code (RC2).
  • Updated to latest CM9 kernel.
  • Changed to different Email application.
Changes in version 0.8:
  • Updated to latest CM9 RC1 code.
  • Updated to latest CM9 kernel.
  • Changed to different MMS application.
Changes in version 0.7:
  • Updated to latest CM9 RC1 code.
  • Updated to latest CM9 kernel.
  • Added more Ganbarou wallpapers.

Changes in version 0.6:

  • Updated to latest CM9 code.
  • Added Ganbarou wallpapers.
  • New bootanimation. Thanks to jtdo!!!!!

Changes in version 0.5:
  • Hopefully fixed Settings ForceClose issue
  • Added LiveWallpapers Picker and NoWallpaperOption back to ROM. But no LiveWallpapers in the ROM
  • Updated to latest CM9/Google Sources

Changes in version 0.4:
  • Removed CyanogenMod stuff:
    • CyanogenMod wallpapers
    • LiveWallpapers
    • CyanogenMod Statistics
    • Profiles
    • ROMManager
  • Google Apps included in the ROM. No more need to flash Google Apps separate. Included GMail and YouTube (in data folder, so they can easily be updated).
  • Wipe of cache and dalvik-cache recommended, otherwise you might see a FC of Settings after reboot. No big issue, it will happen only once.

Hi BeeGee_Tokyo,

Great to see your first GN rom. I still remember the times when I was learning to cook Kaiser and Topaz roms, and you were one of those that had helped me another. Looks like it's time for me to start learning to cook Android roms! :)

I'm going to try it out.

You can register at and download applications from Samsungs Apps shop.
Please add that description to the op please..
Otherwise some people might think is S note or whatever S apps.

Apparently, a lot of people don understand that those S apps require tw framework..

Just to save the trouble when ppl start asking for those apps to be supported

Your boot screen is fabulous!

I've not tested your rom extensively but it definitely looks impressive.

BTW, is there a way for me to get Navigation Bars in your rom?

Open Settings then goto System select Notification drawer tick "Show power widget" and configure it on the same page.

If: u can incorporate ics reloaded that would be awesome.
( something I have been requested everywhere but ..... )
@Galaxy Note™…
Can you explain me a little bit more? What do you mean by "incorporate ics reloaded"????

Infact I thought so..XD However I can't find any samsung apps..

Hi zard, nice to see you here. If you need some help for building Android ROMs let me know. Not an expert in this, but just went thru the painfull learning process.

Thanks. Had the note since last November but only decided to use cooked roms a month back. Had to read a week before I even dare to flash. I can imagine what it's like if I try cooking Android roms. You'll definitely get a knock on your door when I'm ready..:D
