Have the bootloop error. I doesn't have A2SD scripts installed (I think). What file should I deleted (on SD Card) or what should I do to install alpha5? Also tried the exact "INSTALLATION :" howto.

How can I disable vibration feedback (when I press something)?
I disable in system > notification > haptic feedback > off
and:
settings > sound > every with vibration are disabled
but it doesn't work, it is still on.
(okay find the right one: Settings > Language & input > Android keyboard (settings button to the right of its listing) > Vibrate on keypress)

Hi, after flashing gapps, my phone can boot. But at signin to google account step, i cant do anything. When i click on signin button, the button keep on blinking no matter which button i click(get an account/not now). Below is error that i see in logcat.

EDIT : Ok, now it okay already. I reboot phone by taking out battery and now everything is okay.

I did not have this issue while setting up my phone with a google account. Maybe try to re install the rom. Start from Scratch.
Now okay already. Dont know what happen to my legend. I took out my battery and after phone reboot, everything is ok.
I have the bootloop also, restoring backup with alpha4 also bootloop arrgh, i will try the gapps installation later. For now going back to CM7.2 because i have to be reachable for work!
I also did wipe data, cache and dalvik and reinstall (few times) all ended up with bootloop, even with alpha4.....
But still very thankfull for all the hard work on the rom!
^ try doing as you did (wiping and everything),but also format the system partiotn in mounts and storage menu in recovery

Step by step
1. Flash the aplha 4.0
2. Then install normal gapps
3. Reboot it, it will bootloop
4. While bootlooping remove the battery and start into recovery.
5. Wipe dalvik and cache partition.
6. Reinstall gapps.
7. Reboot
It will work without any bootloops nw

I don't want to change the language. It is German from the beginning and it is okay.
I want to help translating the ROM generally, so that all users have a better German support for this ROM.
There are some missing/not translated strings in settings > launcher, settings > display, settings > profile and so on.

This link should guide you more detail on how to update to other language. Its similar in building application for android. Its by editing strings.xml. So in your case, you might want to look at settings.apk in /system/app/Settings.apk.
Basically, you just need to decompile apk that you want to edit, in your case, you will need to decompile Settings.apk. Then look for strings.xml in directory /out/res/res/values. Try editing using your preferable text editor. My case, i used notepad++. Then, just recompile it back, push it to system/app directory again.
I think zivilist is asking in what way he can help zeubea with the translations.. to help improve translations to German.

Thanks for this beautiful rom. For an alpha it runs very smooth. However I did notice something that has not yet been mentioned as far as I know: the hardware buttons don't light up, even in complete darkness. Anyone else with the same 'problem'?
