On the other hand, it is a very good news that CM9 Legend Beta0 has got beyond 2,000 downloads, incredible!, it is also thanks to you, and 7 donations (not bad); thanks very much, your contribs are very appreciated!!).
Greets
It would be awesome if at least half of those 2,000 downloaders can donate at least 1 Euro :D

Well, it's just a suggestion. I know for a fact that majority of us are not in a position to donate.

But come'on guys! we can do better than 7 donations!

Yep that was me about the reboots. I have had to go back to CM7.2 at the moment as my wifi now causes reboot after every sleep. Nice to know that I am not the only one with the issue.

Am going to try some things to see if I can get it to work normally and post back later
So if anyone has any ideas they would be welcome.

I have reflashed an original stock rom having wiped everything, then wiped again, factory reset, wiped dalvik and then only flashed the CM9 ROM (having redownloaded ROM) and not installed GAPPS. Booted phone, set up wifi set settings to switch off wifi when sleeping and left for 30mins.

When I wake up phone, wifi won't initialise so I toggle off and phone reboots....any ideas what to try next - i could generate a logcat if someone with a bit more knowhow can use?....

Tested the last version, it's really smooth! I'll definitly switch to this rom when the trackpad waking will be there. (my power button is dying )

Thank you again for everything you've done zeubea!
You can use volumn rocker instead of trackpad or power button.

Setting>Display>check vol rocker wake

What I normally do before I install is:
Wipe data factory reset.
Wipe cache partition.
Wipe dalvik cache.
Wipe battery stats.
FORMAT SYSTEM.
install zip and before reboot wipe data factory reset again. Thats it
After reboot then go back to recovery and install gapps-NO WIPE

I do not have the wifi issues posted here also foll the performance guide in OP I find it makes a lot of difference in the graphics and performance. Oc 806/245. Running about 5 hrs now, testing juice consumption:D:D

DO NOT TRY DARKTREMOR A2SD it won't boot

There is nothing you can really do except wait for a fix.

When this happens, I just press power button twice, and then the device is responsive again.

You can try to disable your voice mail so that you have more time to unlock an incoming call. In my case, it happens more often when data connection is activated. When on wifi or without any data active, iam more successful to unlock incoming calls.

Succesfull installation

Installed CM9 yesterday evening. I followed the steps in the first post, except the reboot in step 6. After installation I got no bootloops or anything weird. Installed S2E (Oleg Krikun) which worked like a charm.

A few observations, probably known by you guys:
- Screen lockup when receiving an SMS. Only option: taking the battery out
- no video recording
- installed the updated zip regarding A GPS after not getting a lock

Thanks to Zeubea for making this ROM possible

It's been on my device for almost 48 hours. WiFi OK, GPS not tested yet. Deleted Calculator, Email, Exchange, Music Talk and Trebuchet, and replaced them with alternatives. Still stable. Thx for a great beta.

LED flashlight doesn't work. And is there an option to make the recent apps showing only icons instead of thumbnails? It will be way faster.

@Messatsu and @Oops...

That is the post I was referring to. It was mentioned somewhere in this thread.

@rsamanya

Flashlight is working on my Legend. You could try this:

I have a few question: how can I disable shutter sound? It is a bit annoying.

Touchpal says it can't load the user dictionary because of low memory, turns out I have left only 19MB on /system. How can I free up more /system memory?
