True, I confirm also this issue.
it occurs since BETA 3 never before for me.

It's quite boring because when you drop down the status bar, it takes between 5 and 10 seconds to access to the usual icons (like wifi, gps,..and notifications).

Someone have a fix for this bug?

I think some of these bugs are related with individual chip performance. And some of them disappear after a reflash or even reboot. I believe sometimes the flash is not 100% clean even we clear everything in recovery, including dalvik. And i've noticed this couple if times when reflashing the rom the Google Play application and/or wallpaper was kept even i factory reset, clean cache etc. Recovery does not always work properly.
What i've noticed from my experience is I had less hassle when flashing CM9 over old ROM then when just upgrading CM9 (beta 3 to beta 4).
Another isuue (at least for my phone) is all performance tweaks, except overclock of course, are decreasing the performance if choosen. I set one by one, tested with antutu, and best performance is without tweaks

I see that every time the device is starting, I don't see any problem related to this, but I don't understand if I have made something wrong

I have the same, after moved dalvik to RAM or upgraded applications

Everytime i make changes in /system with Root Explorer (with R+W), after doing a reboot, the changes are reverted. For example: When i delete Bootanimation file, the next time i boot it still remains there. Another example is when i'm changing a file for google now to work, when i do the reboot, the file has the same value, its not changed.

Maybe a permission problem ?

I can delete the bootanimation with FX Explorer with Root module, see here XDA forum.
After reboot the bootanimation is still removed.

Do you have s-off or unlocked bootloader? You need either of these to make changes like that while your phone is on and running.

I had the same issue (running Beta 4 with S-off) for any apps (in System/Apps only) that are odexed. Replacing deodexed files is fine. I tried a number of ways but the only solution is to install an deodexed version of the app then odex it with dexopt-wrapper and move it back into System/Apps. Hope this helps. I suspect the problem is some sort of app licensing issue.

Beta 4 is awesome Zeubea, Thankyou!!!. Much smoother than Beta 3, no longer require V6supercharger. Rom runs really well

Edit: Video/Sound still crackles every now and then. <-- Crackling because I had both Volume Plus and DSP installed at the same time.. Sorry!

I know the question has been raised and solved a number of times with Open Garden, but I was just wondering if there are any plans to do anything further with native wifi tethering? I would be great to hear any plans you're considering for furture development....

Hi all,
Please help me.
I have installed CM9 RC2 Beta4 ROM - port for Legend.
And i have a problem:
I can sync Google calendar - it has been shown in "Calendar" of system.
But when I use Mail Exchange, and i config setting for Sync Calendar + Mail.
Mail Exchange receiving mail OK.
But No calendar show.

When I use CM7, all it's OK

Please help me.

ISSUES/KNOWN BUGS FOR BETA 4:

* Youtube HQ laggy (normal youtube works fine)
* searching GSM networks is not working,
* headset icon missing (although headset works)

working, but third part app is needed for:

* wifi sleep (dont use native wifi sleep)
* camcording
* wifi tethering

tun.ko added. VPN settings not tested. You should to open a shell and insmod/modprobe this module by hand.

Camcoding is working by means of Videocam Illusion.

why does nobody read the first post?

1.- Wipe data/reset factory
2.- Wipe cache
3.- Advanced -> wipe dalvik
4.- Install cm9 (it takes a time)
5.- Follow the wizard if applicable
6.- Reboot
7.- Install gapps

In my case lgCamera is ok also for video and it seems to be the best.
Settings:

• resolution 640x480
• video encoder default
• video file MPEG4
• bitrate 1Mbit
• fps 15

I can play videos with MX Player, Gallery is not good for that.
