Hi,

thanks for bringing ICS to our beloved Legend! :good::good::good:
Though it's still a beta,it's working pretty good but i have a few issues that i want to report.

1, I don't have haptic feedback in the launcher,homescreen and app-drawer,yet it's enabled in the settings.
2, Sometimes when switching from wifi to mobile data the mobile data doesn't turn on and i have to reboot the phone.
This doesn't happen every time and i still didn't find a pattern in this bug.
3. After i fixed permissions i had to do a complete reinstall of the rom,it was FC-ing most of the apps.

Sorry if this was already reported,but it's a large thread to fully read.

Anyway,excellent port,thank you! :good:

You right my phone is carrier branded by SFR (French's VODAFONE)

What is the risk if I flash this ROM as it on my HBOOT 1.00.0000 ?

What do you mean?
BlaY0's post is about updating to HBOOT 1.02 and unlocking the bootloader,it's necessary to follow all steps to accomplish this,including the stuff on the HTC Dev site,it's HTC who's providing the unlock code you need to unlock the bootloader.
The difference is that if you follow BlaY0's method you don't need to be on stock rom,the standard HTC Dev method requires flashing stock rom.
Anyway,in order to flash CM9.1 you must have an unlocked bootloader,so either way you choose to follow,you must unlock the bootloader first.

if u flash this rom on HBOOT 1.00 legend, you may get bootloop

you don't need to follow the instructions on HTCdev from Step 8 to unlock unless you want to get your bootloader unlocked (you can flash custom rom without unlocking)

here is a link for Vodafon FRA branded RUU : http://www.htcdev.com/ruu/PB7610000_Legend_Froyo_S_hboot_1.02.0000_R.exe

@Rubik.Orange:
Thanks for the detailled answer :victory:
I am doing what you recommand, but by curioity, what is the benefit to have an unlocked bootloader if I can this rom on locked bootloader ?
:confused:
@Phinkal:
Don't worry, my english is not fluent as I believe and I see that the rom-customization on some HTC devices is quite hard, lol :highfive:

An unlocked bootloader basicly allows you to modify the android system itself.
Apps like AdFree and Link2SD require this to work.
Downside offcourse is you will be able to really mess up your phone if you're not carefull.

Forgot to mention you can also install a custom recovery like ClockWorkMod when your bootloader is unlocked,which is a huge advantage.

Works really good, BUT...

The Beta 8 works really good, but when I install the gapps the phone freezes in the boot phase.
So right now it works without gapps. I hope there will be a fix for it.
And btw., very good job, keep it up! :)

Has anyone successfully changed the camcorder settings in the system/etc/media_profiles.xml for smoother records? In cm7 [email protected]@1000kbit was a good setting, but when i changed it in cm9, recording wasn't possible. maybe there are "hardcoded" settings in the cam.apk?

Edit: Ok, it seem I had problems in CM10 not in CM9, here it worked fine :)
