Does any of you know if this works on a Arc S gingerbread 2.3.4 (.42 build) (LT18a but i assume if i use LT18i its the same)??? Unable to unlock BL, Sim locked, already rooted and CMW installed already. Cant update OTA to ICS, Xperia Companion doesnt recognize device and "on board" PC companion client from the phone doesnt even install (gives error).
Well i have tried to flash the ICS kernel and a ICS rom but flastool keeps throwing error at system.ini. and if i exclude that one from the flashing i get bootloop, i have tried this many times and with many roms in many different ways and orders and honestly im sick of it, i dont wanna spend some time downloading it with my **** slow connection for it to not work, cause a bootloop and making me need to flash stock. root, install CMW, and EVERY SINGLE THING app again.
So basically, i cant update to ICS anymore, im stuck on GB 2.3.4.
Sorry if i sound rude but as said im sick of it, this phone is a piece of **** and has a cracked screen that doesnt let me see **** but i have no choose since repairing it its ****ing pricey and im not spending money on it.

Edit. Actually i have and LG G2 but if i get mugged i give this xperia while my G2 is hiddden in an armband on my leg since normally they wont search you that low. Welcome to Mexico City boi

Emma doesnt read my device and Sony themselves have said they ended support for pre 2013 phones and they already have no avaliable firmware for them. Thanks

In that case, you are stuck with gingerbread. I don't think ICS ROM works with a Gingerbread kernel.
It doesn't. Do you know any GB rom that works with stock kernel? And has a working link ofc. Thanks for replying.

Downloaded 3 of those, a matching kernel but flashtool 9.23.1 gives error at system.sin all the times, haven't tried another version but i dont think thats the issue since stock sony .42 or .62 revision work just fine while flashing

I dont use arc now.but i remember having problem with certain verison flashtool,try another one and maybe its okay

"Came back to ICS after switching between JB and GB for months. I must say that this rom is a beast in terms of performance. Ultimate HD 2.0.3 was good but 3.0.2 is simply amazing. I've been on this rom for 4 days now and there's still no decrease in performance. I dun know about others but i usually get 185+ free ram which is not bad for multitasking and gaming at all. And yeah HD games like RR3, NFS MW, Amazing Spidey, Sims Freeplay works amazingly well.

A: Go to Settings > Display > Softkeys, press "disable" and reboot. Now you can enjoy fullscreenQ 4: My WiFi doesn't work. What can I do?
A: Flash WiFi Modules for your Kernel. If you are on stock kernel, reflash stock WiFi Modules. If you use Lupus, reflash the kernel and make sure you have a few mb left on the /system partition. If that, doesn't work, reflash the ROM and Check MD5 Sums.Q 6: I have strange problems nobody ever had. lol. What can I do?
A: Using the right device? Reflash the ROM. If that doesn't work check the MD5 sums found at the download page with your MD5. Still no sucess? Try different Kernels..
Q 8: I don't have much free RAM. What can I do?
A: Remove Apps which you don't need, and which stay in RAM.. Timescape, Facebook, Whatsapp.. Than your Phone will run.. Like a BOSS.
Q 11: How do I make a proper bugreport?

Q 15: Where is the Download Link? I can't find!
Some Browser or Anti Virus Programms hide the download image. To check, press on "show content". You should see an Yellow Download image. If you can't see, your browser hides this picture.Q 18: I can't see OTA-Update! What to do?
A: Clear data of "System Updates" & some Updates are "full" updates, please download the whole ROM, and select "Update" in the Installer GUI. It won't delete your data.

HOW-TO INSTALL ROM
- For Unlocked Bootloaders: Flash any Kernel for stock ICS.
- For Locked Bootloaders: Root your phone using this tutorial, than install CWM using this app
- Place ROM on SD-Card
- Back up user apps and data. (Various apps available, search Google Play. This is a popular one)
- Power off phone.
- Boot to CWM (Keep pressing the Volume Down key after the Sony logo appears)
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset
- Mounts and Storage --> Format /System /Data
- Advanced > Wipe Battery Stats
- Install zip from SD card > Choose Xperia Ultimate HD
- Follow on screen instructions on AROMA.
- After Complete Installation untick "reboot" and select reboot in CWM
- Give the phone a good full charge, and enjoy your brand new phone!
HOW-TO INSTALL OVER-THE-AIR UPDATE
- Settings --> Ultimate HD Advanced --> System Updates
- System Updates --> Check for Updates ---> Download
- After the Download Finished, Boot to CWM
- Install Zip from sdcard --> Choose Zip from sdcard ---> sdcard/OTA-Updater/HDx.x.zip
- Reboot & Done
