Version Details

Aroma Version:​

Its the Big Daddy of all the other versions and the most ideal version to install for a person who knows what he is doing. It contains almost everything Sony has to provide along with all the other Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes, Addons, Applications, Kernels, Recoveries, Mods, Bootanimations, Glass Apps, Google Apps, Bloatware Removal Script etc. The main thing that makes the Aroma Version perfect is that everything in the Installer is optional for the user to install, He/She can either install everything or nothing for a clean install. It gives you complete freedom to configure the ROM and your Device exactly the way you like.

Minimal Version:​

Minimal Version is a new version which has been specially optimized keeping the following things in consideration:

• Lowest Possible Size
• Battery Friendly
• More and More Free RAM
• All the Possible Bloatware Removed
• No Additional Apps (Except the Most Required ones)
• Optimized for best Performance, Speed and Smoothness
• Etc ++

The Minimal Version contains All the Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes but Only one Kernel and Bootanimation, No Glass Apps and No Google Apps either. It does not have any undervolting script pre installed but all the Bloatware is already removed from it. If someone wants to install something from the Aroma Version He/She should download the Addons Pack and if someone wants any of the deleted apps that were deleted while the Bloatware Removal, He/She can get them from the Official FTF or from Aroma Version.

This Version is Ideal for those who like a very very clean Install and like to customize and add everything exactly What and How they want. The only things left out in the Minimal Version are the Core Apps without which you would loose the entire feel of Sony Xperia Z1 and without them there would be no pleasure in installing it.

Addons Pack:​

The Addons Pack has everything in the Aroma Version except the ROM itself. It is being provided for Minimal and Official Versions because they do not have anything from Aroma Version included in them. So, In case if someone wants to install something from Aroma Version, He/She should use the Addons Pack and as its based on Aroma to, so naturally He/She will have all the options with what to install and what not. This Pack will not only work with my ROM, or any other Stock Based ROM alone, it will work with all other ROMs too (Ofcourse, The ones that support the Included Kernels).

Installation

Kindly follow this updated guide by @yoorie016 instead of the one below. Thanks.

Okay, follow this steps to flash the .157 FTF and how to root it. It will take more than an hour (except for the download of FTF) to finish installing the stock ROM. Hope you have the patience to read every steps.

1. Download any .108 FTF, try this link for the FTF. Or if you can find any .157 FTF, download it. If you find any .157 FTF, skip the step 5.
2. Make sure all drivers for Z1 is already installed in your PC or Laptop.
3. Next, download the latest flashtool > here's the link.
4. Install the flashtool and follow this steps on how to install the FTF by krabappel2548.
5. After you install the FTF, boot the phone and let it configure. then update it to the current .157 FW. Don't worry cause its just a 10mb (i think?) update.
6. Root you're phone using this method.
7. Download flashable recovery > use this and look for the latest version, with the name "Z1" on it of course. After you download the file, copy and paste it to your external SD card. (We'll also use this later on installing the 6.2 iHackers ROM)
8. Install a dual recovery via windows, try this link
9. After you installed the dual recovery via Windows, and i assume that your phone is rebooted to recovery, use the volume rockers to navigate to your extrernal SD card, then look for the flashable dual recovery that you download earlier. then install it. Reboot your device and follow the steps below on how to install the latest 6.2.1 iHackers.

There are two methods you can actually do to update the ROM, this will take only a couple of mins. For both methods, you don't need to wipe anything (Cache and Dalvik) also, you can just reboot normally without flashing again the recovery.

Method 1: OTA Update
1. In Settings, browse downwards until you see the "iHackers" menu.
2. Look for the menu "OTA Updater" and tap it.
3. In the OTA Updater, look for the "ROM" tab and tap it. Then tap "Available Updates" if the app doesn't prompt you any new update.
4. The OTA Updater will download the 6.2.1 ROM, install the update and it will boot you to Aroma.
5. After the update, reboot your phone.

Method 2: Manual Download
1. Download this iHackers v6.2.1 [Patch] and paste it to this location>> Internal Storage (SD CARD)/download/ROM.
2. Browse to OTA Updater and look for the download icon, it's located at the top right portion of the app (Arrow down with line under it). It should show the downloaded patch then tap it to install.
3. After the update, reboot your phone.

Locked Bootloader:​

How To install the 6.2 iHackers ROM

Since the OP is still not updated, i'll use the current steps (with some changes/updates) on how to install the ROM properly;

For Locked Bootloader Only:

Backup TA Partition
Download the ROM (iHackers 6.2) , then copy if to External SD card.
Reboot into Recovery. (Press the Volume Up repeatedly after you long press the power button.)
Make Sure to do a Wipe Data and Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
Reflash the flashable dual recovery that was placed on your external SD card.
Turn off your phone and reboot it.
After the configuration, go to settings and look for the "iHackers" and select the OTA Updater for the latest 6.2.1 patch.

• Install Oficial FTF for Firmware 14.1.G.1.534.
• Root Your Phone Using VRoot or KingoApp Root or Whatever You Like.
• Backup TA Partition.
• Copy the ROM to External SDCard.
• Flash the Latest [NUT]'s XZ1Dual Recovery for Xperia Z1 via PC.
• Reboot into Recovery (If you already have a working Recovery, Skip the above steps).
• Make Sure to do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
• Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
• Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
• Skip to the Last Step if you are already on Firmware - 14.4.A.0.133/108.
• Install Kernel.ftf for C6903 (.133) or Kernel.ftf for C6902 (.108) with Flashtool to get compatible Kernel and Baseband.
• Reboot and Enjoy.

Unlocked Bootloader:​

• Copy the ROM to External SDCard.
• Flash iHackers Advanced Stock Kernel.
• Reboot into Recovery.
• Make Sure to do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset before Installing the ROM.
• Start the Installation. (Install Zip >> Choose Zip for External SDCard).
• Switch Off Your Phone (Do Not Reboot). Select No to Disable Flash Recovery Confirmation.
• Skip to the Last Step if you are already on Firmware - 14.4.A.0.133/108.
• Install Kernel.ftf for C6903 (.133) or Kernel.ftf for C6902 (.108) with Flashtool to get compatible Kernel and Baseband.
• Reboot and Enjoy.

i am on UB doomloard kernel v12

i wiped everything and i flashed your rom without any problems it boots fast it seems smooth i tried the camera working very good, for me is the best rom
