Brainmaster, before doing a full wipe, I decided to just flash over the v6 kwiboo build I was using - most things (network, GPS, camera, bandwidth stats, etc) seems to work. The only thing that doesn't is that my Google account has disappeared...
Code:
D/AccountManagerService( 239): bind attempt failed for Session: expectLaunch false, connected false, stats (0/0/0), lifetime 0.002, addAccount, accountType com.google, requiredFeatures null
E/ActivityThread( 1957): Failed to find provider info for com.google.android.gsf.gservices
D/Finsky ( 1957): [1] 12.run: AuthenticatorException while adding account: android.accounts.AuthenticatorException: bind failure. Finishing.
I was curious if there was anyway to just force that to reset, like either mucking about in /data/system/accounts.db directly or forcing com.google.android.onetimeinitializer to rerun or something? Are there any good references describing how the account services interact (ie, I'd assume the packages.xml would probably need an update?) I know for regular users it'd be easier to wipe, but I'm genuinely curious, and wondering if you or others know what's involved...
