Unfortunately not going to happen officially! :(

If I'm not mistaken, HTC had made an official promise to deliver LP update within 90 days after they got source code from Google, didn't they?
They even had a promo page for LP-update somewhere last summer/fall. If anyone can help me find a link to that page / screenshot / web.archive.org entry / whatever proof, please share it with me, I'm considering making a case out of this.

That's why they tell us "outdated hardware" and they didn't say for which Android-version we'll get support for 2 years. They simply are not interested anymore and/or want to sell the forthcoming Mini3 (people having Mini2 are more pissed off).

Great job, HTC, and sorry that some people don't buy a new phone every 1-2 years. So the new Mini3 must have extremeley high never-seen-before-specs (because Lollipop will only run on such devices), right? We'll see...

Hi. I'm late in the game on this rom. Probably means I wont disturbe the work pace too much.

I haven't followed the developement so I don't know which install instructions are up to date. Judging by top post I need a custom recovery. In the history of this thread I read different instructions on add ons and recoveries to flash.

I get my mini back so I may have time to port and debug for a final release.!

Hello, I was experimenting with cyanogenmod 12, well, lollipop is so beautiful, but wow the rom is terrible. So I decided I'll just roll back to Insertcoin . Atm; what version are you guys recommending me, also, it would be helpful if you could post a link to it unless you guys recommend me to download it from the OP. Thanks,
ziedje.

Any News About Update Release Time For IC 4.4.4 Bugless ?
"Bugless"? I'm afraid only in next life, mate.

I've switched back to 3.0.7 because of many bugs and constantly increasing severe problems in 4.x. Running smooth so far but it's only been a couple days. Will report how it works out long term.

Can you also test the battery life once more? I have a feeling that the conservative governor might be better

Something very bad happened to my battery life, by phone barely survives 10 hours in standby... It's constantly hot. It's constantly awake. Full charge takes about 2.5 hours. I have no idea what's causing it. This was one of the main reasons I decided to switch back to 3.0.7. Same problem occured on 3.0.7 within several days. I didn't have much time to investigate this issue in detail yet, but I'll try to do a clean install once again, and install apps one by one and use them for several days to find out what's causing it.

But aside from this unknown problem and regarding the Conservative governor... Yes, it should use less battery, but that comes at the cost of drastically decreased performance. You can see that scrolling and all animations become very jaggy, everything lags, etc. I don't want to sacrifice performance for battery life, instead I was searching for a governor that would not impact the performance negatively at all, whilst using battery more wisely. MSM-DCVS is exactly that, from what I could observe.

Xceed kernel is probably included in later IC 4.x builds by default, but I'm not sure which version is included (and there is no way to find out, since all Xceed versions display the same build number in settings (this is the only bad thing about the kernel, lol)).

1) So always download the latest version from here:
https://github.com/zeroblade1984/htc_msm8930_kernel/wiki/Downloads
2) Put zip on your SDcard
3) Enter recovery
4) Wipe Cache / Dalvik cache
5) Install kernel from zip
6) Wipe Cache / Dalvik cache
7) Reboot
8) Wait
9) PROFIT!

10) Install Synapse
11) Choose MSM-DCVS CPU governor
12) Even MORE PROFIT!
Hello, I've read many posts of this threads and finally got a good configuration... until the device started a booting loop: it reboots and then it turns off and then reboot and then off and ... etc. etc. ...

Android 4.4.2
TWRP 2.8.5.0
TAMPERED
UNLOCKED
M4_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
CID 1111111
HBOOT 2.22.0000

I was looking for a stable ROM with the Tape-to-wake option, so I've decided to flash IC 3.0.7, then I've rebooted the device in recovery mode and I have flashed Xceed for 4.4.2. The telephone works quite well (some little of Synapse's crash, but once the device rebooted all worked good).
Afer one month I decided to install all the application I need: Touchpal, Waze, Radardroid (I've bought it), Teamviewer, Dolphin, Maps, Digical... and I had some problems with GPS. Maps, Radardroid and TouchPal crashed. And then ... the telephone starts the loop "turn off and boot".
I've tried 3 o 4 times a new clean flash of IC 3.0.7 and it works well but when I then flash Xceed Kernel the loop "boot-turn off-boot" starts again.
Does "Low memory killer values", "Fast Dormancy" and "Improved speed" conflict with Exceed kernel ?
Does it make sens to flash IC 3.0.8 ?

I like Exceed because of the double to wake, it's very useful, and also for the overclocking possibility :)

Could someone tell me how to fix it ?
I have not the skills to do complicate tweaks, I'm not able to run ADB because drivers (W7 64bit) don't work... anyway I could use TWRP to flash and Teamviewer to transfers files from PC to One mini.

Now I've IC 3.0.7 with all the app I need, and it works.

... and sorry for my bad english !!!

Thanks !

... I don't know why but now IC 3.0.7 + Exceed work again ! I've downloaded once again Exceed from the official site, then I've erased the one I had in the phone and replace it with the new file. Then again a clean flash of IC and then Exceed... and it works. Hope it doesn't crash in the future.

Is there any other stable ROM+Kernel having 2t2w ?
