hey man, never set an overclock under 480MhZ, because under this value, the phone wakes more times, draining a lot of battery, and 480MhZ uses the same voltage from <480. Fix this and the rom should be very good. :D
i don't think that i will upload one more time the same version of the rom only to change the frequency. i'll set the min frequence at 480 on my phone and if i will notice some improvements in battery life and phone's performance i'll write a warning in the first post.

@lucascm08: are you italian?

Actually LG **** is stable, smooth and you can make calls, send sms, browse the web, use bluetooth, wifi, gps, download from market, get a decent battery life, do a lot more stuff without bugs or FC and LG **** it's way more functional that vaporware ROMs.

Congrats for the V20 mod
Sorry but I disagree with this. I tried many ROM's based on the official GB and all have the same problems of ****. Terrible battery drains (if you think that the battery will last 23 hrs. Is excellent, let me tell you it sucks ... compared with the ROM's and kernels that are in this forum where the battery if it is excellent) way too poor performance (about 1450 to 1500 in atutu LOL and 47 to 50 fps in Neocore)The kernels and roms are created in this forum that are not based on the official GB is very stable if you use reasonably with phone (Remember that this is not a phone with 800Mhz or more...)

In my country (Chile) and on the continent where I live (South America) is going this error, the vast majority believes that it is an official GB is the best there is. That biggest mistake... LG made a big crap with GB :(

This is all my off-topic.

@matteof93 want to be clear to you that I can not include in what I say because I have not have tested your ROM for comment :) and congratulations on your creation as well as being something more innovative than it will be seen in all where all are based on GingerLOL (In fact these ROM's are GingerLOL under another name no more)
A recommendation, raise the minimum frequency of the processor that you default on your next update, since using less than 480Mhz is the same voltage to use 480Mhz and this causes a higher consumption of battery ;)

thx,good job, stock rom it not perfect but is 100 % functional.
All the rom 2.3.x tested have poor battery live. cm7 also !!!
If you want good battery live, go back to froyo !

thanks....but i don't agree with you, i think that with this rom you have more battery life than a froyo-based rom.
I test your rom actualy i give feedback later...
But with stock froyo i have 6 day standby and normal call battery live...
i have tested all gingerbread rom on this forum, 2 day is max in standby for battery live with gingerbread rom.

Sorry for my bad english...

Jesus dude.

I know that my tweaks thread is a wet dream for any stock cooker like the thousand italian ROMs I see here in XDA (except DookMatt who built CM from source only after I posted the tutorial on how to do it) but, you need to use them properly. You have to tune the values for P500 or it can do more harm than good.

Okay,

1. delete this from your build.prop asap:
(I shared this for 2X, 3D and Black users)

Code:
user.feature.flex=true
user.feature.lgdrm=false
user.feature.lgresource=false
user.feature.lgpoweroff=false
user.feature.ls_event=false
user.feature.ls_normal=false
user.feature.sui=false
2. Why do you mount /system when you change governor and clock speed?

3. Disable the screenstate script, you don't use profiles or screenstate crap like that when you have governors.

4. The "perfect" mount options I posted are for ext4, not yaffs2, you need to read my thread more carefully.

5. Loopy smoothness tweak doesn't work. It never did.

6. Why do you use juwe11's "RAM optimization"? You know it will override the values you set before right? Besides, I don't recommend juwe11's thing. Why? a) you shouldn't set adj values without its oom groupings. b) the dirty ratios are too low. c) swappiness=10? lol.

7. Really, are you sure you want to have this on your egl.conf?

Code:
1 1 android
0 1 adreno200
Jesus, it kills me to see these ROMs that are a sum of tweaks and scripts without any sense at all, they just pour them in build.prop, init.d and god knows what more. You all need to learn before releasing a ROM.

@OP Congrats I waited so long for you to post this rom here. No bugs in this rom plus stability. Little less in performance as compared to Mik's rom but you can compromise on performance for a working camera, no bugs. Good job.
Completely agree with this post, I prefer LG to mik/cyanogen etc due to stability and everything just works with it.

Gonna try this rom as openoptimus seems to have permanently stuck on wifi, on my phone at least (please dont ask me to check options,it's set to turn off wifi with screen off but doesn't :p)

thanks knzo....i Will delete perfect mount options and build.prop hacks. I don't understand why i have to delete screenstate and the loophy smootheness, it seems it works. This evening or tomorrow afternoon i Will release a new version of the rom.
Finally, i tried to compile cm7 from sources but i wasn't able to add p500 proprietary files TO cm sources.

Follow the tutorial on my void's thread.
It says every step you need to build CM.

For proprietary files it's easy, download this:
https://github.com/mik9/proprietary_vendor_lge

And then extract it to the folder /vendor.

In answer to your other questions:

1. Screenstate script is useless because a) conservative is a governor, it doesn't really save battery by changing to it only when screen is off. b) what does save battery is locking up in the minimum frequency when screen is off but for this you have governor's built-in profiles in franco.kernel. So, to sum up: if you use franco.kernel with Smartass2, InteractiveX or a governor like this, you don't need to use a screenstate script. And if you do, then use powersave instead of conservative as the latter is basically an ondemand with slower scaling.

2. Loopy smoothness tweak as an init.d doesn't work. It needs to be injected as a service. Besides, the script written by eoghan is messy and full of fireworks. I'm probably the only one in XDA who has actually a "loopy smoothness tweak" (script that rearranges cpu priorities) working and I can tell you this: it's not that good of a tweak. Some things in Android are better left alone.

This rom is the perfect example of my post in the general section yesterday.
Most of us are aware of androidworld.it. There is some great work there but their 01 forum is a mess of over 700 pages worth of threads!!! Do we really want that to happen here too? I want to begin reporting these to the mod but technically there's nothing wrong with this post.

RTL Patch for Persian/Arabic/Hebrew for GingerForn 3.1

This is a RTL Patch for Persian/Arabic/Hebrew support on this ROM ... it fixes Persian/Arabic Shaping in the phone and even on GMAIL/WEB ...

Simply Download it and Flash with CWM!

The zip file contents a font too ;)

i don't know the flashable zip works or not... i myself copy patched files manualy, so if flashing don't work on your device extract the zip file and copy each to the relative directory with ROOT EXPLORER... i think it causes no problem when it applied right after flashing the GingerForn ROM and before booting for the 1st time via adb... in other cases it could causes some FCs that may be fixed with a wipe ;)

it's none of my buisness if any damage occures to your phone! blah blah! ;)
