I wrote about this in the first post at "known problems" section...
it's an issue dued to HTC PhotoPicker not compatible with WM 6.1...
try rebooting and then setting the wallpaper...
the first time you try you can...from the second time you'll get a red screen...

I had the same problem,just soft reset then open up albums so it opens all then go back to home wallpaper and try again it has worked for me-hope this helps?

Well what ever it is it is the first time i have ever got 12 satellites using googlemaps in fact it is super fast using 3g on the internet now is that down to the rom or the radio?

Just a update with my testing,opera 5 will now not launch even though it did from when i first installed this rom i have downloaded another version from omarket and it is now working,the other thing was the battery was draining very quick,i have today installed xda developers neos2007 drivepack and it returned my battery from 17% to 51% and so far working fine,i will update later.

After first install (task29, stock rom + 2 x hard reset) I got to 43% of used ram.

I unistalled magic tweaks and mort script and now I have 39%. Very nice for a sense 2.5 rom with coockie home tab included.

I found one little bug so far: I can't seem to find the "power" settings for adjusting the backlight and tome out. Any idea? It's not in the "settings"folder.

One question: Is there a graphic driver installed and if not, which one do you advise?

Hi

For backlight management I advise you to use Lumos (google it) - it is the best backlight management tool..let's you do a lot of customizations.

For the graphic drivers, OP says it in the first post.
It seems to be someting from italian crafters - Driver Grafici 2010 Aggiornati.

Very nice idea of mixing 6.1/2.5 - finally someone is doing it (I also seen cloudy trying)

actually it is not a new idea, but chefs in general seem to not have interest in developing roms with this combination of wm and sense.

why? simply because sense 2.5 is developed to run with wm 6.5, so the difficulties, bugs and incompatibilities are greater and apparently harder to solve.

at least that was the kind of answer miri gave us when he stopped developing a wm 6.1 / manila 2.5 rom.

I m trying to avoid all the problems...
but this is a Frankenstein ROM...
it's made up of several parts from several stock ROMs of 2 different OS...
so it's everything but easy!
and sometimes if I fix something...on the other side another thing is broken...
so I m trying to give you the best result...
and the project is still growing...

No, I meant WM 6.5 + Sense 2.1. I saw in your other forum you have ITA version. Can you make it WWE version ? I'm having another problem with 6.1 that it didn't detect the time correctly here, in Oz. I have no problem with 6.5. Also, I couldn't find a lockscreen for 6.1 ... seems like it's easier to find program for 6.5 than 6.1

Your detecting time problem are possibly true but the lockscreen is not a problem thanks to Cookie's Home Tab...
however...I don't know if I have the time for it...
