The link's broken! 😦 .. seems like it was the only bootable j110h CM 12.1 custom rom in the world perhaps 😁

Doesn't boot 😣

Hi guys!

I have about five J110H j1pop3g devices laying around and I'm looking for a way to make them run Android Lollipop 5.1 to be compatible with some of the apps no longer working on the stock kitkat rom.. I'm looking for a CM 12.1 custom rom that boots successfully using TWRP recovery even if it's full of bugs 😁 .. none of the roms listed above booted up for me except for the CM 11 one that had to be patched with the cmboot.img file and flashed without telephony stuff

If you have a bootable j110h CM 12.1 custom rom please share.. or any lollipop or above custom rom that boots up successfully even if it had bugs

Yeah I noticed that, but I didn't find the file for CM 12.1 when I clicked the link 😕 .. The CM 11 one booted fine with the above issues yup! 👍 .. I needed CM 12.1 to run API 21 triggered apps while CM 11 runs up till API 19 but for sure CM 11 is much lighter than the stock kitkat and highly adjustable 👌.. Thanks for sharing bro and please upload CM 12.1 again lol 😂

To recap, I have two CM 12.1 ports tweaked to run on j1pop3g.. one is bootable (let's call it CM.main I got from @smiley) and the other had wifi tweaks but didn't boot (CM.wifi found here on page 5 from @Noel).. my mission was to make CM.wifi boot using files from CM.main to test it for @Noel....

After many tests I noticed that the main reason for CM.wifi not booting was that CM.wifi's META-INF folder needed some fixes so I replaced the whole folder with the one from CM.main, and flashed boot.img (found in the root of CM.wifi) separately after the main flashing process of CM.wifi with the replaced META.INF...

It booted! But the wifi issue wasn't fixed yet 😕 .. the main issues still presist, still no wifi or bluetooth or audio or camera.. but I noticed that CM.wifi had more apps than CM.main although many were not fully functional because of the mentioned bugs, but they make it feel stuffed 😁 .. CM.main has only the functional apps with no stuffings 😁

At last we got CM.wifi tested after waiting a few months for a j1pop3g owner to test it, and happily it was me and my five devices are always ready to test any lolipop and up ROMs just upload it and I'll get back to you ASAP with feedback!

about audio i dont have any idea
camera not work due to kernel issue if you used cm12.1 kernel on stock rom camera will dead

wifi/bt j110h uses sc2231 wifi ic.(hardware) so kernel use sprwlan.ko module (lib/module) and some libs and bins and etc/firmware for connect with that hardware part. this cm 12.1 port is based on j100h it dosent have sc2231 wifi ic it uses boardcomm wifi ic. so there is huge mismatch with hardware. that is the issue in wifi and bt.

libhardware.so and libhardware_legacy.so help to load that module.
there are some libs and bin files still not identifiyed which help to wifi/bt

there is no any there devices with sc2231 wifi ic which shippped with android 4.4.4. but samsung j105 and j210h has that sc2231 but they dont have cm12.1 they have only cm13 or cm14. but j110h kernel support only for 5.1. need to modify kernel source to boot cm13 and cm14.1. my cm13/14.1 kernels are failed.

wifi/bt is hard thing to fix according to me
