If coming from another JB based ROM just wipe dalvik/cache unless you have a custom kernel installed then full wipe.
This is my recommended JB gapps works great for me and is highly customize-able JusTunBean JB4.2 aroma v4.1.2 Please follow his directions for Aroma and you wont be disappointed. His link is a few lines down below the instructions Labeled (Downloads are located here. (Password system removed)) This is just my preference you can install any gapps you like.
