hHi folks,

here is official JB 4.1.2 from Samsung ==> XXLSZ

One final comment regarding RocketROMs: i stopped that and won't continue in future!!! But I will provide you with Stock ROMs as I get my hands on it




New Release XXLSZ:

• official Firmware from Samsung XXLSZ
• Modem XXLSO (coming with official release)
• Kernel ZSLM5, pre-rooted (thx phil) --> you are free to flash preroted XXLSZ-kernel as soon as available!
• deodexed and zipaligned

==> ROM is pure stock, no Mods or tweaks and including ALL crapware and nonsenseapps from Samsung coming with this release...decide which to keep and which to delete.

Installation:

1. make sure you are on a rooted ICS-ROM or JB-ROM with CWM recovery and brickfree kernel installed
2. copy ROM on your USB-storage
3. boot in Recovery
4. FullWipe/Factory Reset --> really do that, even if you come from LM5!!!
   
5. Format /system, Format /data, Format /preload --> really do that, even if you come from LM5!!!
6. flash ROM
7. enjoy

==> it is recommended to flash new JellyBean-bootloader BEFORE or AFTER flashing the ROM. (Some expereinced it is better to do it before...). This bootloader might be important for not getting any botloops again when removing battery etc.

If you do not care that issue, flash without doing that - but you got warned!



Every Rom cook or developer can take this ROM as base without asking for permission!!!


Here are some mods I made for this ROM:



1) here is Mods 'Part 1' - it is CWM-flashable without doing any Wipes!!!

ALL Mods are based on official JB XXLSZ!!!! No old crap from any previous leaks inside!!!

including:

• native Call Recording based on XXLSZ
• 4 way reboot
• Ink Effect (thx to mythtrandyr for his App 'Ink Color Changer' to do all the settings inside with every colour in the world )
• LockSreen Shortcuts --> change CSC to BTU and you will have them...here is how to do it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=336
• no ascending ringtone
• Airview Fix also in Gallery
• unlimited apps for Multiwindow

You can use this Mods 'Part 1', 'Part 2' and 'Part 3' on any other deodexed XXLSZ-ROM - BUT: the modded apps have to be in same place!!! ==> so check on your ROM if the modded apps inside this zip are in the same place (/preload/symlink/system/app and /system/app)!!!

the ROM is not flashable with Odin, but in CWM recovery...I use ODIN 1.85

the JB bootloader is included in the official LSZ release in this file - http://www.hotfile.com/dl/194965403/0874506/N7000XXLSZ_N7000OXALSZ_DBT.zip.html

when you flash this via pc odin your bootloader gets upgraded automatically. Flashing it through mobile odin doesnt.

eybee is recommending flashing the official JB first through pc odin, rooting it and then using his deodexed rom available here. for better performance.

Is there any chance to analyze if the new bootloader is important here?
I didn't use it because I installed with MO, so I wait a little bit and see if I get bootloops etc.
Can install the PC Odin version later.

I guess it is important in some way though i did not flash til now tbh
One could build a odin flashable just cotaining the bootloader so you could flash it afterwards...but i wont do that cause i dont like playing around with odin stuff...
