how long is first-time-boot-wait??

Extends 10 minutes and still nothing happens it just says android(animation goes) ... but nothing happens ... my battery will empty??:crying:
In my case, the first boot took less than 10 minutes... Try removing the battery and reboot the phone.

I waited more than 10 minutes after the restart

can someone make video and upload to yt...I tried to find but there is nothing, except a one video, Xperia d v 2.5
I guess you have a Defy+ and I don't know how much depends on your actual kernel (this rom has an inbuilt kernel anyway), try to flash it again and make sure not to wipe anything after the flash.

I just can't get to work!!!

Download and copy the latest ROM zip to SD Card
Reboot into Recovery Mode
Make a Nandroid back up, just to be sure (skiped this step)
Select Wipe data and cache
Select install zip from SD card
Select choose zip from SD card
Select the new ROM zip
Select Yes - Install update
Wait until the Installation is finish *IMPORTANT - DON'T WIPE AFTER INSTALL THE ROM*
Select reboot system now - and goes back to boot menu(?!)
Wait 10-15 min
goes this animation http://blog.namran.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/android-boot2.jpg

and holds into forever....

Any solution??

Its a weird behavior, try flashing a sfb (start from scratch)

BTW im testing today´s quarx build and is working very good as a new base. Need to test more to be sure if battery is not being drained. I have already fixed the Google Play services FC´s, and also the System Hang (when you have to press wait) on every boot. So far, so good. Not sure about the gaming performance, still on testing. Thanks for your feedback guys. :cowboy:

Re: [ROM][JB] Xperia D 3.3 for Defy+/Defy [AROMA INSTALLER] [Playstation certified]

Loving this ROM...

Getting the odd play store fc, doesn't come to much ;-p

Super smooth, almost as smooth as my SII!

PS - nandroid (prior ROM) won't work?! Guess I'd have to flash original ROM that nandroid is based on, then restore...

Thus,
all from the beginning.I made it.

flashed SBF... now, some goes Xperia bootanimation, and I managed to run Xperia D 3.3.

I do not know if it was just a problem with the ROM or partition ... but now I put SBF BL6 from BL5...

after flash SBF, during the install Xperia D some things were performed which was not previously been there...

Pretty fast ROM, but I had to change it, because I wanted to try an other build. The problem is that this ROM replaced my stock Motorola logo with a Sony logo. It is okay, but I can't get back the original Motorola logo :D

There is a way to change boot logo a.k.a splash screen... Use search

PS - bug update... Google play fc's (a lot) when uninstalling apps...
Search widget doesn't work... I dug around & saw that there is no google search, so - I tried installing it from market... but it gave error & wouldn't install!? There are other search widgets that work, but they look fugly.
Apps quite often take a while to open

PSS - using setvsel & oc'd @ 1.2Ghz... also using no frills apk & am using 'boosted' + 'Sio'...
Also using loopysmoothness & juwes ram scripts... Thing really flies!

Is GPS working fine for everyone? I'm getting "your position is currently unavailable" all the time. Had no such issues in previous versions of Rom. Or maybe it's just for me.
