that's icon resolution
240 is smaller than 320 so you have 5 icons in 240 and 4 in 320

Think of it like changing the size of fonts, icons, toolbars... so you can fit more on the screen. 240 dots per inch (dpi) makes the screen seem bigger. Gives you more 'real estate'.

Lets say you have 27inch monitor, imagine using 800x600 resolution and 1920x1080 resolution...

if you download stock XXLSC, you can get all the unmodified apps..

Guys its a Barebone rom with 240DPI applied. If i put all the apps/widgets it just defeats the purpose wouldn't it?

For any missing apps/ stock apps download the BASE rom (ULTIMATE V5.1)

I'm actually planning to make it further slim.

That's because, the systemUI.apk is transparent, use the non-transparent from OP...
