Hi all..quick question..i just rooted my phone stock ICS 4.0.3 DXLP9 with Philz kernel. can i flash this ROM now?or i need to install other custom ROM first?

you can flash now directly
there is the phil kernel XXLSC in the rom

Stuck at "Samsung Galaxy..." screen

The ROM worked well for a week..then it stopped workin and the phone wasnt switchin on too!! (Stuck at "Samsung Galaxy..." screen) i reflashed with cache wipes and ROM and it still wasnt workin..then did a data wipe n then ROM started working..stopped workin again after a day of usage with same problem..now i have BurtROM for 2 days and its going fine so far...
i love this ROM and wanna use it as a permanent ROM..can someone tell me wat the problem may be?? the first time it happened i had used snote for about 4 hrs continuously..i dono if that shud b a problem coz the phone wasnt hot when it went off...

It has to do with the xxlsa and xxlsc firmware itself im presuming.. reading such problems on other roms. I had the same problem and changed rom after 2 constant bootloops after restart in a matter of a few days.

thats true.

I had one single instance of getting stuck even with Burt's rom also.

Im waiting for JB official release. Raj and xperiacle will work wonders with it I hope !!
So much demand for them from the Note 2 section

dono what the problem is..it keeps going into bootloops after few hours of installing the ROM...forced to leave using it

Is there any way to change the battery icon back to default not a fan of this round battery thingy
and your rom doesnt download things directly form the default browser, you should list bugs of your rom on the main page man

get a stock rom and add the apps you want or get it as I do myself with the V3 team union rom

It is not allowed mostly.
Like rayman said, get your lazy ass up and just use them from another rom.
You can just copy them or use the adb push command.
Apps are in /system/app or /data/app .

that's not publicity for windows but for the dev of this windows version who made a great job

@strategist : dl a stock rom and pickup the apps you want and copy directly in the rom zip in system/app and flash the rom and that's it

Good luck trying to get anything light-colored on android...

It's possible to have a white menú on ics/jb rom like miui? Or a theme? I don't like holo colors (blue/black) expecially under sun light!!

i have looked/asked for such stuff on cm etc too..no you will find maybe 1-2 among like 200-300 themes..seems like everyone sits in a dark room lol..i know these dark colors are so hard to read in brighter environments (let alone outdoors)

some folks (not here necessarily) so focused on battery and because darker themes apparently use less battery..they do not even want to consider lighter themes though imo the difference is marginal (in miui experience between light and dark themes)

It would be nice to have lighter themes (there is an miui type theme in cm10 but that is it..and there was an ics reloaded that was mostly light background but that was on cm9 only)

today first time that it stays blocked on logo samsung, so I flas new philz kernel 3.95 but still blocked.I wipe cache and dalwik and it statup again.
Before I tried to restore a backup done by cwm but still say MD5 mismatchsum and stop.

I guess there is no need to modify the apk any more...
