i have looked/asked for such stuff on cm etc too..no you will find maybe 1-2 among like 200-300 themes..seems like everyone sits in a dark room lol..i know these dark colors are so hard to read in brighter environments (let alone outdoors)

some folks (not here necessarily) so focused on battery and because darker themes apparently use less battery..they do not even want to consider lighter themes though imo the difference is marginal (in miui experience between light and dark themes)

It would be nice to have lighter themes (there is an miui type theme in cm10 but that is it..and there was an ics reloaded that was mostly light background but that was on cm9 only)

Doesnt the mentioned theme work on jb?

Guys, there is a new thread for making apps multi-dpi without modifying any apps..

Go Here and follow the process.

I guess there is no need to modify the apk any more...
I guess that puts Raj out of business for a while ? :p

so he may move on to bigger projects .......

Hi,,with the new per-app settings app, we can use any DPI we want and see no further need for modifying APK's.

Although, i'll keep updating the twlauncher and email for 240DPI, since few things wont work with the above app.
Raj, you might want to have a look at the Angry Rom, they seem to have several versions of TW & other base apps set up for different DPI settings, including 213 dpi. Then you could integrate those into your next ROM, which I think would be a good idea (reading through the Angry Rom forum it seems to have a lot of stability issues, not like your ROM which runs like clockwork! :)

I've already looked into the TWlauncher of Angryrom and its good, but right now, i'm customizing it to my likes :)

There are few problems with that, like rotation works in 213 but not 240 and all...so it takes time to correct all the issues...

Raj, I am currently using tablet email from note 10.1. Works great with exposed framework. Only thing bothers is too much white color. Any hint for inverting it.;)

Good ROM, liked it.

Thanks for this ROM, I really liked it. Using it for the last 3-5 days and I don't see any problem yet. Fast, good battery life and the most importantly it is 240dpi. I was using different paranoid ROMs before but the DPI configuation of it was always headache. With this ROM everything is preconfigured. For example with Paranoid ROM I couldn't change the DPI of Amazon marketplace app, it is perfect with this ROM. Anyway, thanks again to the developer. Yavuz, London. :good:

AW: [ROM] [JB 4.1.2][XXLSC] Barebone 240dpi JellyBean TouchWiz [V2 is up again !!!]

After about 10 days of pleasing usage my Note doesn't boot. :confused:I am trying a different room now.
So, you think, if you go from the Livingroom to the Bedroom it will boot again?:p
(Sorry, just kidding, couldnt resist:D)

It seems there is a problem with XXLSC roms, when you remove the battery without properly shutting down the phone
cause it to bootloop.

So, whenever you shutdown the phone, wait for the last heptic feedback and then do your deeds...

From my usage I think LS4 is better than LSC. LSC becomes slow and unresponsive from time to time usage.

Good joke but it is partly right.. There is a saying in Turkish: "Half of the every joke is right", but it is not related here:silly:

Yes Raj, this could be my issue as it happened as soon as my battery was completely drained. It has repeated a few times more giving some SD card errors but working fine now. My only solution is booting into Recovery and restoring from a previous clockword backup. But this happened two or three times in the last 5 days.
